A Date

Maya was going through her closet as her mother entered the room seeing how her daughter was going through clothes.

"Honey? You wanted to talk to me," Katy said.
"I wanna sell that motorcycle and get a decent car. If I'm going through with this marriage I need at least that," Maya said.
"Okay I'll see what I can do but what is this?" Katy asked.
"Me and Josh are going tk get to know each other before we decide so he is taking me out tomorrow. What on earth do I wear?" Maya asked.

Katy chuckled as her daughter slowly reminded her of herself when she was Maya's age.
Always worried and always worried about others.

"Well wear some jeans and a shirt. It's nothing fancy," Katy said.
"Mom, this is practically a first date. Never mind, I'll manage," Maya said.
