"Maya, could we talk about this marriage?" Katy asked and Maya exhaled.
"Mom what do you want me to say? This Josh seems like a rebel and I don't have the strength for that," Maya said.
"You two are actually more similar than you know. Just give it a shot, Sweetheart. Maybe you guys will end up loving each other like Alan and Amy does," Katy said.
"I don't know how we can love each other like that because you can't compare it. I just turned 18 last month now you want to force a marriage on me? I need to think," Maya said as she ran to her room.
