A.N: I know what you're all thinking "she does this at the end. Why is she breaking protocol?!" Anyways if you notice while reading or that the roman number doesn't add up, it's because I have skipped: 'A Remedy To Cure All Ills' and 'The Gates of Avalon.' I don't have much of an explanation for 'The Gates of Avalon.' Mostly just a lot of work to be done and I wanted to get a chapter out. "A Remedy To Cure All Ills'' Takes the hat for hitting one of my biggest fears. I am terrified of bugs and I really hate the idea of bugs going into my ears. There is a big long story that I don't feel like going into, but I am annoyingly terrified of the concept of this episode. I hope you can forgive me, but a chapter is still a chapter.

There were so many people. So many that wouldn't hesitate to take his life. The little boy moved closer to his father figure, taking a hold of his clock and watching everyone around them carefully. "Do you have my supplies ready? " Cerdan asked the worker. "We must leave the city without delay."
The stallholder bends down lifting up a bag full of needed supplies. He glanced around nervously as he spoke. Mordred didn't pay attention trying to figure out what was making the man so nervous. "I'm sorry." He says, Mordred spots the guards, drawing Cerdan to them.
Cerdan pulls Mordred with him ducking under a random table. They watched the guards carefully for any indication that they spotted them. Seemed pointless as the guards pointed their way shouting, "Seize him! Stop there!"
Taking each other's hand they dive out from under the table knocking a table over and racing away. The guards lunged after them, Mordred was to slow the sword meeting skin. An uncontrollable scream raged throughout him as he stumbled. Cerdan looks back, sending the guards flying away from them. He pulled Mordred along, they managed to reach the drawbridge, but Mordred fell to the ground unable to go any further. Cerdan looked around for a way as the guards got closer.
Cerdan spots a lever for the gate though it was too far away for him to reach it in time. Not that it mattered. Cerdan's eyes glowed as the gate slowly pulled itself together. Cerdan helps the little boy onto his feet pushing him towards the gate. "Run! Run, run!"
Mordred stumbled through the gate noticing too late that Cerdan wasn't right behind him, but distracting the guards from the injured kids.

Why didn't anyone else react to that scream. Though it didn't settle right with Merlin on how the scream hit him. Either way Arthur was waiting for him to grab...Merlin couldn't remember hopefully it would come to him soon enough.
"Help!" A voice called. Merlin stopped looking around, no one else noticed the voice and he couldn't find where it came from. His eyes roamed towards the square, he felt drawn or maybe that was where Merlin needed to go for Arthur. Either way he was heading that way before he made a decision to do so.
He looked around trying to remember what it was he was looking for. "Help me! Please." The voice called out once more. It wasn't coming from out loud. There hidden by a stone ledge staring at him was a little boy. "Please. You have to help me." He begs.
Merlin looks around. A group of guards round the corner, Merlin's eyes trace back to the boy. "They're searching for me." The little boy explains.
Merlin looks back at the guards. "Why are they after you?"
"They're going to kill me."
They guards came closer and closer, the telepathy the boy had started was strong, Merlin heart raced with the boys.
"Guards! In here!" A guard shouted pointing to an area near the boy. Merlin walks over to a door off to the side keeping one eye on the guard making sure the coast is clear. "This way. Run. Run!" Clinging to a bloodied arm the boy races over to Merlin. Only a second too late the guards spotted him.
