Merlin was quick to distract the guards. He hoped he could find answers down here. Although all help came in riddles and only helped so much.

Merlin waved his torch around searching. "Hello?" Merlin called out scanning. He looked up since that was generally when the Great Dragon came from.

"Hello." Kilgharrah shouted as he soared down. To his favorite rock. "The great warlock returns, as I knew he would."

He held so much confidence as he spoke. Merlin only frowned sort of wishing he didn't need help. "I need you to help er...tell me how to get rid of an Afanc."

Kilgharrah's grin widened upon such news. "Yes, I suppose you do."

"Will you help me?" Merlin rocked back and forth on the balls of his feet.

"Trust the elements that are at your command." He advised.

Merlin stared at the dragon confused. "Elements? But what is it I have to do?" Merlin hated his advice mostly since it made no sense and Kilgharrah never offers an explanation.

His smile turned from light hearted to serious in a matter of seconds. "You cannot do this alone. You are but one side of a coin. Arthur is the other." Kilgharrah warned.

The more he spoke the more frustrated Merlin got, none of it was clicking in his mind. He wished the dragon would be more direct. "Your not making any sense. Just tell me what it is I have to do."

Despite Merlin's confusion the great dragon spread his wings and began to fly away. "No! Please, help me!" Merlin begged holding a hand out as if to stop him.

A loud laugh rumbles throughout the room and Kilgharrah responded, "I have."

And off he went deeper into his cell. "Oh, yeah, right. Thanks." Merlin spun on his heel seeking back towards Gaius's chambers.

The room shone with light and yet held a cold aura. Artura enter the council chambers. Her eyes locked with her father.

He looked back towards her, and just like every other time Artura found love hidden inside. "Have you found anything more?" Uther's voice was colder than the room.

It often came as a surprise to see her father concerned for the people. He had created himself as cruel and uncaring towards her so the affection he shows towards Camelot made her envious.

"I've tried. I can keep looking." Artura wanted her people to be safe as well, even so she couldn't find the reason why her king was so desperate to get rid of magic.

Artura's opinion didn't matter of course so she never bothered to express it for all it did was cause her trouble.

"People are dying, we can't delay any longer. We must kill the witch. Bring her execution forward to tonight." Uther ordered falling back into his seat.

Once again Artura bowed herself before her father before taking a leave of absence.

Merlin raced into the physicians room heading straight towards Gaius's stack of books. He opened one flipping through the pages searching for the answers to Kilgharrah's useless response.

"Merlin, what are you doing?" Gaius asked hovering behind him.

Merlin didn't bother to look up as he answered, "Book."

Gaius sighed. Merlin's responses was a little too short for him. "You going to tell me which one?"

Merlin was so focused it took him some time to realize he was being talked to. "Elemental book." Once again a short answer.
