After eating a small lunch, to combat her large dinner she had almost every night, Princess Artura headed down to the courtyard to get in some light training with a couple of her knight buddies. She brought along one of the servants in the castle to help her while she practiced.

Although the knights, besides Sir Leon, didn't know that she was a girl they still felt like her close and most trusted friends even if they weren't the best influences for her at times, although, she would never admit that to anyone of course. And she also would never trade them for anything in the world.

After a good round of sword fighting we all took are armor off and decided to have a little dagger throwing contest. She would feel bad for the servant Morris but the day before she had caught him in the act of harassing one of the newer maids and felt nothing on her conscience for treating Morris rudely.

Morris set up the target in the worst place imaginable. "Where's the target?" Artura asked looking around squinting in hopes to prove a point so that he would just apologize and fix it but of course that was not how it was going to go.

The knights laughed from behind her believing she was completely making fun of him, which wasn't her intent at all but now she was afraid to back down. And be looked upon as a coward and soft on people. Things she had been taught her whole life that both were terrible attributes for a king.

Yes, king, Princess Artura had been raised like a boy, Gaius had made a potion that would transform into what she would have looked like as a boy. As she grew she got better at keeping her voice low. Some days she wondered why she kept up the act. All she had to do was not take the potion in the morning and boom everyone finds out she is a girl or something like that. The only real reason she did it was fear of what her father, Uther, would do for disobeying.

Morris was kind enough to bring her back to reality by asking, "There, Sir?" He pointed towards the target at that sat in line with the sun and would make any of their shots near to impossible to be accurate.

Sighing Artura realized what she had to do. "It's into the sun?"

Morris frowned glancing back at the target squinting a little helping to prove her point. "But, it's not that bright," he tried to reason.

Without much thought she respond letting her silver tongue take control of the conversation, "A bit like you, then?" Morris looked offended as she turned to her friends laughing with them.

Morris bowed his head apologizing, while Artura raised an eyebrow as she considered the apology. "I'll put the target on the other end, shall I, Sir?" Morris headed towards the target picking it up and heading away from the sun.

One of the knights, Sir Richard, tapped on her arm with a couple of daggers. "How about you teach this nuisances a lesson. Go on, boy."

Artura took the daggers turning her head towards Sir Leon, he shook his head trying to get her to not follow the knights influence, but unable to stop herself when she thought of the terrified look the maid, Sarah, had when she had saved her. Raising a dagger setting her aim and muttering angrily, "This'll teach him."

Sir Edward chuckled nodding his head a little, "Yeah."

Sir Richard laughed along with him repeating himself, "Teach him a lesson."

Taking a deep breath focusing in on the moving target Artura moved her arm back. As she released her breath she trusted her arm forward. The blade was sent toward the target in a whirlwind of fury before striking the target a bit harder than she had anticipated.

Morris stumbled on impact falling to his face. The knights around her found it hysterical, Artura felt a bit bad especially when a surprised Morris sputtered out, "Hey! Hang on!"
