Artura stormed into her fathers chambers. Uther looked up from his desk looking a bit annoyed. "Father!" Artura cried reaching his desk.

"What is it, Arthur," Uther asked going back to his paperwork.

Artura face fell, she hated how he never spoke to her as her normal self.but rather the person he wanted her to be, Prince Arthur. "Y-your giving me a manservant!" Uther nodded not seeing the flaw in his little 'gift'. "Father what if he finds out about me. It wears off after about twenty-four hours and that's normally when I'm sleeping."

Uther placed down his paperwork looking in his daughter's eyes. "You skipped practice today. Meaning you took the potion later so take it during dinner everyday and the servant boy won't notice a thing," Uther said like it was no big deal.

Artura groaned pulling at her current short hair. "But dad my room was my place, my place," she said, her voice cracking. "I don't have to hide there. I can be me without peoples...your disappointing stare." Uther said nothing just went back to his paperwork.

"I guess you wouldn't understand, it's just like that mother said the only monster is you!" Artura shouted storming out of his room fighting back her tears. Men don't like to show emotion it made them appear weak so taking a deep breath she placed her cap back over her emotions heading to the one person she felt would understand.

"Psst.." Artura whispered leaning over a man. He had his eyes closed relaxing. Artura knew he wasn't sleeping because when he did sleep he snores lightly. "Sir Leon open your eyes by order of the Prince."

Sir Leon's eyes opened instantly turning to look at Artura. "Arthur, what are you doing here?" he whispered looking around cautiously.

For some odd reason Leon calling her Arthur even though he knew she was a girl and that Arthur was not her true name it didn't sting like when her father called her it. "Are you up for a little sparring match? I can't sleep and I missed training earlier. Not to mention we have that tournament coming up and we both could benefit from practicing.

Sir Leon stood up giving her a respectful bow. Once she had gotten permission, from her father, to tell Leon of her secret he was the one she would turn to. Sure she also had Gaius, but he constantly had people resting at his place while he cured them.

She told Sir Leon about how Uther totally disregards her as being a women only seeing what was in front of him instead of what she was on the inside. Sir Leon came to realize that one of the best ways to let out her bottled up emotion was to put it in a form of dance. Or for them fighting each stroke she made told him the story of how she felt.

After she had told him and he became her most trusted friend especially as the Captain of the knights, she had slowly developed feeling for him. She never told him about them. Luckily too since they slowly changed and now she viewed him as her brother not only in arms, but also a closer more meaningful bond. Sir Leon couldn't agree more about being siblings.

They went to the court yard swords in hand as they fought each other each allowing their emotions free l. They let their emotions control themselves all the while keeping the reigns on hand. Neither would back down and neither would shut each others emotion down.

A weeks past and it was Merlin's first day on the job. Artura was nothing but kind to him. "Ready?" she asked Merlin. He was holding a shield as she was holding her sword.

"Would it make any difference if I said no?" Merlin asked honestly not ready for anything that was yet to come.

Artura shook her head getting his point. "Not really."

She was feeling generous on his first day so he also had a sword. He looked so uncomfortable in the outfit. Artura couldn't help but grin as Merlin drew his sword.
