Alison POV

Alison- "Thanks for dropping me off Spence," I said as I climbed out of my friend's car. Spencer and I went to high school AND college together. We were always pretty close and have managed to stay in touch throughout the years,

Spencer- "Anytime Ali, are we still on for tomorrow?" She asked as I was standing right outside the passenger's door.

A- "Of course! See ya later," I stated as she backed out of my driveway and I walked into my cozy little home.

After both of my parents died in a plane crash, I not only received a bunch of money from the airplane company, but I also inherited a bunch of money that I had no idea my parent's had. However, I've only used the money to pay for college, my house and car (which, by the way, is in the shop). I figure since I have a job, I can just save the money for when I absolutely need it.

As soon as I step inside, I take my shoes off, go to my bedroom and change into something comfortable. I put on a pink tank top, grey sweatpants and some fuzzy blue socks. Then, I throw my hair into a messy bun and put on my reading glasses.

I grab my laptop, sit on my bed and begin to check up on all of my social media accounts (it's kind of a part of my job). I check them in the following order: Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and Facebook. I never quite understood why my manager made me get on Facebook because, to me, it's a little outdated and isn't as popular.

Right as I'm about to log out of my account, I notice a little red number one of the icon for the list of friend requests. Must just be another fan, I thought. I clicked on the button and there she was. No, it can't be! Emily Fields wants to be MY friend. I begin to click yes, but all of a sudden I become a little hesitant.

*Flashback*

Alison POV

A- "C'mon, you can do this. You are THE Alison Dilaurentis, captain of Rosewood High's cheerleading team! Breath in, breath out," I told myself out loud.

I came out as bisexual two years ago during freshman year. However, I've only dated guys ever since. Sadly, I lost all of those relationships due to me also having physical attractions to other girls (What? I can't help but stare if I see a very pretty girl with a nice ass!). Anyway, I am now in my junior year of high school and finally built up the courage to ask one of those pretty girls out.

Alison- "Hey Emily, do you have a second," I asked as she was putting her books in her locker. The bell had just rung to let us know that lunch had just begun.

Emily- "Sure, Alison. What's up?" She asked with a smile and those fine ass chocolate eyes of hers.

A- "Look, I know we don't really know too much about each other besides what everyone else in school know. I'm a cheerleader, you're a swimmer. I'm bisexual, you're a full on lesbian. My hair's blonde, you're hairs's bru-" I was suddenly cut off.

E- "Alison, what exactly did you need?" she asks through her adorable giggles.

A- "I was wondering if you would like to g-go out w-with me, as in a date. Like the ones they do in movies. You know, dinner and a movie. Or a walk on the beach or a chat in the park or-" my rambling was once again cut off, thank God!

E- "Sorry, Alison. I'm going to have to politely decline your offer"

A- "But, but...aren't you gay? You have a girlfriend, don't you?"

E- "What? Yes, I'm gay and no I don't have a girlfriend. My life is just really complicated right now"

A- "Oh, I understand. Well can we at least be friends?"

E- "I don't see why not"

No POV

And from then on, the rest was history. Emily went on to have a head-on collision during a swim meet and Alison was there to help her through every step of the way. During the rehabilitation process, Emily began to develop unwanted feelings for her friend. So instead of addressing them, she pushed Alison away. But no matter the status of their relationship, Emily always made sure to be courteous and respectful when in Alison's presence and she never forgot to thank her for all her help.

The years went on. Both eventually graduated from high school and went off to college.

Emily went off to Berkeley on a scholarship but she didn't get to finish seeing as her swimming career immediately took off. Now, she swims competitively and owns her very own non-profit organization that teaches children and adults how to swim.

Alison did a year at UPenn before her modeling career took off. At such a young age she was able to work her way up to being a Victoria Secret model.

The two girls both reside in Rosewood, unaware of the other's residence. They haven't spoken to each other since after graduation.

Alison POV

Oh, what the hell? I'll add her. It's just Facebook and maybe now we can be some sort of friends. To be honest, I never lost my attraction to her. By the looks of her profile picture she's only gotten prettier. I know, I'll shoot her a message through here. Maybe we can meet up one day if she still lives here. Or if she still likes me...I don't know what I did back in high school to make her cut me off but I really would like to make it better.

A- "Hi"
