"I just thought that maybe you want to have a girlfriend so that you can be inspired in your studies and I want you to meet her when I introduce you as my Son on Foundation day.. as much as possible tha--" agad akong napatayo sa sinabi ni Dad
"Waiitt a girlfriend ?? Fiance ?? I don't want that Dad " I hiss at him I saw him smile for what I said to him
"In your reaction, it looks like you already love someone Son," he seem's happy but he got serious when he spoke again
"But I can't cancel your dinner with her because that's also what her parents want, It's embarrassing that even if you just meet, you won't meet each other " I became serious too.. why would I need to meet her tskk.. such waste of time
"You can reject her if you want, muka din namang ayaw mo na agad sa kanya " napapikit nalang ako ng mata ng marinig silang tumawa pareho
"Okay enough na Dad.. I gotta go I skip my snack " lumabas ako nang seryoso dahil dun nga sa meeting na mangyayare,, hindi nalang siguro ako pupunta
Palakad na sana ako nang mahagip ng mata ko ang nakaupong babae sa tabi ng office ni Dad may hawak syang 2 starbucks na cup.. kaya lumapit ako dun ko lang nakilala kung sino iyon dahil nga nakayuko sya hindi ko nakilala agad
"Karen ? What are you doing here ?" I ask agad naman nyang inangat ang muka nya then I saw a face that make my stomach butterflies in field.. A face so innocent. Am I that gay ??
"Ahmm..A coffee " inabot nya sa akin yung isa nyang hawak agad ko namang kinuha yun
"Ohh thanks " then I sat beside her at wala nang nagsalita but I want to speaker her more kasi ang angelic ng kanyang boses
"I thought the others we're with you " I start pero hindi ako tumingin sa kanya
"Yes I am, kaso umalis din ako " she said
"To bring me this " sabi ko habang nakatingin sa binigay nya humigop naman ako.. americano?? Ang sarap
"Why?" I ask
"You haven't had a snack yet so I just brought you one.. Aren't you like it ?" Nakayuko lang sya habang sinasabi nya yun kaya napangiti naman ako
