Cold

Arlo looked around him.

Today was the day.

He looked around him as the soldiers around him geared up and checked their equipment.

"Let's end this war!" Alice cried, and the soldiers cheered.

They then began their march to the royale palace.

It was snowing.

Arlo watched the flakes floated down to the ground.

Even with the armor and added inner fur padding,  it was still cold.

Arlo looked ahead of them.

The snow was thick, and he wasn't able to see too far ahead.

"How long do you think it'll take to get there?" Troy asked. He too was doing everything to keep his hands from freezing off.

"Not too long." Alice responded.

"I'll trust you on that one."

Arlo tried to catch his breath.

It had been a few hours since they had left and being out in the cold for so long had made his fingers and feet numb.

He had casted a flame spell and lit up a torch for himself to keep himself warm to, which helped a little.

"You okay?" Eunice asked, noticing how he was breathing heavily.

"I think I'll be fine." he smiled.

Arlo looked up.

The snow was still not letting up.
