Across the bus

Vanishing

And it vanishes

A candle
Blown out
The slow
Steady winding of a clock
The stares
Sighs
Dreams
Down the stairs
Red heels
Fiery eyes
Swishing dress
Sweeping the stairs
All of a sudden
Gut wrenching
Realization
Exclamation
Heart pounding
Eyes wide
Gasping
The unshared
Unbearable
Heart crushing
Collapsing
Failing
Oblivious
Impossible
A sidelong glance
A long sigh
Brushing it off
When gazes
Are met
With a laugh
Shrug
