「DAY 3」
legs and limbs tangled together.
foreheads touching.
and lips inches away from each other.
that's how they woke up.
jaehyun was the first one to wake up.
he pulled doyoung closer to him, closer to his heart and sighed when the angel gladly let him.
the human felt doyoung's eyelashes fluttering awake and smiled softly when he mumbled 'good morning' into his neck.
"good morning."
doyoung leant back after a good 15 minutes of snuggling into jaehyun, and the latter's heart almost stopped beating when his angel flashed a big bright smile.
and doyoung couldn't help but fall in love all over again as jaehyun smiled back in response.
the words etched into his mind finally made their way out of his lips and doyoung smiled at jaehyun.
"i love you jung jaehyun. very much."
he watched as jaehyun blinked his eyes. twice. thrice.
"w-what?"
jaehyun almost sputtered out.
"yes i do jung jaehyun. i don't need more days to realize that i love you very very much. i knew i did it before, but i never had the courage to tell you so."
jaehyun just stayed still as doyoung climbed on top of him, hands intertwining at the nape of the younger.
"but doyoung! what about you?!"
"shh. it's okay. if i fall in love with a human, my wings will be taken away and so will my powers."
"and you're actually doing that? for me?"
"yes. yes i'm doing that jae. you know why?"
"hmm?"
"cause you've taken me higher more than my wings ever could."
he lowered his lips, brushing them together with jaehyun's, the feeling as soft as a feather.
jaehyun couldn't take it anymore, and immediately pushed doyoung down under him and captured his lips in a much awaited kiss, their lips and bodies molded together into one.
tears slipped out of jaehyun's eyes as the lives of his life was finally in his arms and doyoung couldn't help but smile tearfully too.
"i love you."
"i love you more my angel. my soulmate."
jaehyun swooped down for another kiss, and doyoung didn't stop.
