"We should watch the sunset," I said, biting my lip and smiling wide.

He just gave me a look and asked, "Don't you think we should be heading back?"

I pouted and looked at him innocently. "We can watch for just a few minutes and then head back," I whispered in a baby-ish voice.

He looked at me for a couple of seconds, blinking a few times, before finally letting out a defeated sigh, "Fine."

I clapped my hands excitedly, plopping myself down on the ground at the place where I was standing.

"Here?" Shawn asked, gesturing to where I was sitting.

"Where else would you want to sit?" I asked sarcastically, giving him a look. "The sky?"

Shawn's hands rested itself on his hips, as he raised an eyebrow at me, before shaking his head and slowly pulling himself to sit beside me. "What am I going to do with you?" Shawn muttered to himself with a smile, as I giggled and moved closer to rest my head on his shoulder.

Shawn leaned his head to the side a bit, resting it on top of my own head, as he let out a sigh. My arms interlocked itself around one of his arms, slowly cuddling against his side but I don't think he minded it.

I smiled softly at how warm and comforting he felt. And honestly, it was enough to make me drowsy, and so, I closed my eyes for a second...

......

My eyes fluttered open in surprise when I felt the car move beneath me. I bit my lip and blinked a couple of times, to regain my thought process because I hadn't even realized that I had fallen asleep at all.

I looked beside me and towards Shawn, who had his eyes focused on the road.

"Shawn?" I asked, biting my lip.

He turned around for a second, his eyes brightening, "Oh, you're awake."

"You carried me back to the car?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.

"No, you just started floating," Shawn said sarcastically, a grin playing at his lips as he said so. "It was scary, I tell you."

I rolled my eyes, but I couldn't help but let out a smile.

.......

*Slight smut warning*

"Today was fun," I whispered, as I leaned against the front door of my house after I had opened it.

Shawn smiled, "Yeah."

We stared at each other, neither of us moving an inch.

I bit my lip and let out a breath, slowly leaning up to kiss his cheek softly.

Letting my lips linger against his cheeks for a few seconds, I could feel my heart beating by how close we were.

I shouldn't be thinking about it. But I couldn't help but gulp when I pulled back and notice his eyes darken tremendously.

We were just friends, I thought to myself, licking my lips slowly.

I gasped when his hands reached up to tuck a piece of my hair behind my ear, his fingers lingering around my cheek for a second before it trailed off towards my mouth, smoothening against my lips subtly.
