Camila's POV
What if I did tell him? Shawn, I mean. What if I told Shawn about my feelings towards him?
What would happen?
I'm sure he wouldn't completely unfriend me, but there would be some moments that could be so awkward, it'd swallow us whole.
Well, what if I allowed myself to be with Alessandro?
I let out a sigh thinking about that. Alessandro is a very good looking man and has treated me with nothing but respect, I don't think I'd be tremendously happy with him.
And it'd be highly unfair for him if I keep thinking of Shawn whenever I kiss him.
I poured and dumped myself onto my couch, nibbling on a banana as I tried to sort my thoughts out.
But it was cut short when a doorbell rang throughout the entire house, and I jumped up at the surprise of it. Letting out a breath, I stood up from the couch, grumbling because someone decided to disturb my thinking time, but that was before I saw who actually was behind the door.
"Hi," Shawn whispered softly, having a small smile on his face.
I furrowed my eyebrows, wondering why he was here but I wasn't complaining. "Hi," I whispered back, leaning against the side of the door as I peered up at him. "What... what are you doing here?"
He didn't answer immediately. He stayed silent for about a minute, just staring at me with a soft gaze, before coughing and muttering, "We haven't hung out in a while. I just thought... maybe I could take you out somewhere. If you're not busy, that is."
I looked taken aback, but I couldn't help but feel excited. "I... I'd love to," I finally uttered, biting my lip to stop the smile appearing on my face, before looking down at my onesie. "I don't want to change, though," I pouted and looked back up at him.
He grinned widely, before patting my cheeks softly, "You're cute. But you don't have to change if you don't wanna. We aren't gonna be going somewhere where the paparazzi would be present. Lord knows the rumors that will spread around if they find us together."
I giggled softly and silently agreed. "You're really sure that I don't have to change?" I asked, biting my bottom lip, as he shook his head. "Okie," I giggled and clapped my hands together, walking backward back into my house so I could grab my phone and keys.
He only blinked a couple of times, staring as I kept giggling and then let out a smile.
.......
"I'm almost scared you're going to be kidnapping me," I mumbled, as he shook his head and chuckled. "No, I mean seriously, I wasn't expecting you to take me to the... woods."
Shawn grinned slyly, "You never know..." He wiggled his eyebrows.
I rolled my eyes and shoved him, "Oh, shut up."
He chuckled, "No, I'm serious. I brought you here to kidnap and I plan to hide you away in my basement."
"You don't even have a basement," I muttered, as he unbuckled his seatbelt and went out of the car, and I followed suit. "All jokes aside, where are we?"
Right then, he scratched the back of his head and looked down on the ground, a blush appearing on his cheeks. "I... Can I be honest?" He asked softly, as I nodded and narrowed my eyes. "I don't actually know."
"What?" I stared at him.
"I had planned on hanging out with you, but I didn't plan on where we'd actually go. Well, I knew we weren't going to go somewhere too exposed, but... I don't know," Shawn tried explaining, his hands gesticulating madly. "And I was trying to figure it out in the car and well, I was driving around in circles and we ended up..." he looked around, as he sighed. "...here."
