.......
"Fuck," Shawn whispered against my neck, as I almost collapsed against his chest.
"I know," I chuckled breathily, wrapping my arms around his neck and raising my head up to look at him.
I bit my lip to stop myself from smiling at his elated expression, before leaning in slowly to kiss him softly.
I felt him smile against my lips, so I pulled back ever so reluctantly and I whispered, "We have a weird friendship."
Shawn raised an eyebrow and chuckled, "I think we're more than friends, Camila."
"True," I shrugged, letting out a rueful sigh. "But we aren't in a relationship, either."
Truth to be told, I wanted to be with him. More than friends, and definitely more than our sexual association.
He was everything I had wanted. Ever since I had first met him, I couldn't help but fall for his charm, and no matter how much I've tried to stop, I couldn't.
And every day I spend with him, I seemed to be falling for him more.
His eyes shined so brightly and his smile that made my heart race a million miles.
His hands touched my body in ways that aren't considered friendly, but those are the same hands that held me close whenever I was down.
His lips roamed around my body, but I loved it most when it'd penetrate my own lips.
His dorky personality made me smile every time, but there were times he'd growl and go down on me, in ways that aren't friendly either.
None of this was friendly.
But we were friends.
Just friends and nothing more.
And knowing that friends were all we were going to be, I was hurt. But I suppose that's all we could actually be, so I'll take what I get.
"Yeah, but we don't have feelings for each other, do we?" Shawn asked, chuckling as he wrapped his arms around my torso.
I bit my lip and closed my eyes for a moment. He didn't have feelings for me. And that hits like a ton of bricks, but I suppose it's just the truth and I needed to face that.
"Yeah," I lied through my teeth, giving him a grin. "It's just... sex."
"Exactly," Shawn smiled, pecking my lips quickly. "Oh, guess what."
"You're collaborating with Taylor Swift?" I asked, giggling as he shook his head.
"Not yet," Shawn sighed. "But I am making a new album."
My eyes widened and I squealed loudly. I'd honestly be surprised if my neighbors hadn't heard me from their houses. "Really?" I asked giddily.
"Yeah," Shawn grinned at my exuberant state. "You excited, eh?"
"Of course!" I had to physically stop myself from squealing. I had always loved his voice and his songs always held a special place in my heart.
"Well, that's good. Recently, I've honestly been worried that no one will like any of the songs in the album," Shawn sighed, as he nuzzled his nose in the crook of my neck as I ran my fingers through his hair. "And I don't know, I've started writing songs and all for the album, but something just isn't right."
"What do you mean?" I asked, furrowing my brows together.
Shawn sighed and held onto my waist tighter, "I haven't been getting too much inspiration lately. I've only written two songs and it's called Particular Taste and In my Blood."
"Aw you'll get the inspiration soon, I don't doubt that," I pulled back and gave him a smile, as he shrugged back. "Oh, and you have to show me those songs."
"Of course, Camilita," he cracked out a small grin. "But enough about me, what's happening with you?"
"Not much, actually," I shrugged and frowned. "I do have a photoshoot with Guess in a month, but nothing much after that."
"Ooo, a Guess photoshoot, eh?" Shawn asked, grinning as his lips slowly went towards my neck. "Sounds hot."
I giggled, as Shawn licked along the column of my throat, "Really?"
"Mhmm," Shawn hummed, before biting down on my sweet spot.
"Oh, fuck," I moaned softly, my hands entangling with his hair. Soon, he flipped our position around, so he was on top of me, biting his lip as he looked straight into my eyes.
Honestly, with the things we do, I wouldn't even believe myself when I say we're just friends.
But that's what we were.
Friends with just a bit of benefit.
"Round two?" Shawn whispered into my ear, nibbling onto my earlobe.
"You read my mind."
