Nobody requested this and I'm going to write your requests I promise, but I wanted to write something soft with deku

Reader pov

"Zuzu!" I run up to my boyfriend and hug him. I'm in general studies, so I don't see him all that much.

He wraps his arms around me firmly, but gently. "Hey, (C/n)! How has your day been?"

"Pretty good actually! Shinsou used his quirk to make this kid from class B shut up and do the chicken dance because he was talking bad about you guys in 1-A."

"Ah-" He looks over to Shinsou then back to me. "I can only assume it was Monoma."

"Yeah, but whatever. I don't think he'll do it again any time soon."

He unwrapped his arms and held his hand out. I accepted it with a smile and a small squeeze. "Are we still on for date night at my house?" He raises his eyebrows. It's Friday so we can spend the weekend at his place.

"Of course! If you're up to it- I know training has been tough lately and if you need to just rest and chill at the dorms-"

"No no! I've cancelled too many times because of training and I refuse to do it again!" He smiles lightly. "It's time I start putting my life in order and putting things that mean the most to me first. I can always train or lay down in Recovery Girl's office for a couple hours to heal, but I can't spend every waking second with you, no matter how much I want to, so I want to take as much as I can get." He leads me over to the table we usually sit at. His friends are already there, having their own conversation. "Besides, it's Valentine's Day! I can't leave my huggy bear lonely on Valentine's Day!"

I set my tray down and lightly hit his arm. "You're so cheesy it's going to kill me!" He uses nicknames like huggy bear only when he wants to be silly and fluster me at the same time.

He laughs and sits next to me, putting his arm around my shoulders. "You told me you like it!" He kisses my cheek.

"Jeez, PDA alert-" Uraraka rolled her eyes, taking another bite of her food.

"Whatever, you're just upset because Aoyama rejected you!" I pointed a chopstick at her.

"How was I supposed to know he was gay??"

"His hero name is I Cannot Stop Twinkling! Or something like that, I don't know I wasn't there, but still!"

She sighs. "You know, I think you have a point." She laughs. "I'll have to run things by you next time I try to ask someone out."

"Yeah, you should! I'm your best friend, I need to approve!"

"Oh, is that the case? What about when you dated-"

"We don't speak his name. And you approved! You made us boyfriend bracelets and everything!" We both start laughing.

"You two have a straange friendship. . ." Iida shakes his head and eats some of his rice.

"I honestly thought that it was normal so I thought perhaps I didn't want friends, but then Midoriya told me it was just those two-" Todoroki adds.

"Whatever, our friendship is awesome!" I start eating.

"This is so chaotic, and I thought Kaminari's friends were crackheads." Shinsou sits down next to Iida. "Hey. I've been banished from Denki's table so they can talk about something I'm not supposed to know and (C/n) is my only other friend so here I am."
