Skyler's P.O.V

"And then what happened?!" Scott asked as we both got off the back of the bike and I laughed while taking my helmet off.

You know for a not very bright guy Scott seemed to be really keen on learning about my not exactly love life with Stiles.

You should've heard him going on and on while he was driving.

"And then he kissed me." I shrugged my shoulders and Scott's mouth dramatically dropped as we stood in the hospital parking lot carrying Melissa's Food. "Why do you look so surprised?! Didn't Stiles tell you all of this?"

"Well I didn't think you were actually going to admit it." He said still sounding astonished and I glared at him.

"Well what makes you say that?" I asked in a more demanding tone and Scott laughed as if I were joking. No seriously. What makes him say that?!

"Let's see you kissed him ran off to France acting like nothing happened and when you came back you completely ignored the fact that you actually did kiss him and it was your first and only kiss. We'll that was until now-"

"I get it McCall." I muttered shoving My helmet into Scott's hands.

There was the sound of two more ambulances racing into the emergency part of the parking lot and rushed out a few more really bad injured patients.

No wonder Melissa's hungry.

Once Scott and I walked in we both saw Melissa being overwhelmed by the many bloody patients surrounding her and Scott smile holding up the food.

At least now she can't be over pressured and starving.

"Oh, thank God. I'm starving." Melissa let out a loud sigh and snatched the food out of Scott's hand placing it in the front desk. I laughed as Scott and I stood there. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Thank you for bringing me dinner. You sweet kids."

She gave us both quick hugs and I looked around cringing at all the blood and gashes that everyone had.

"Is everything okay?" Scott asked the most obvious question.

"Except for half the accident victims in a ten car pile-up being rerouted here from downtown, and the E.R. attending not answering any of his pages." Melissa spoke quickly and I raised my eyebrows impressed. "Yeah, I'm okay."

"Love that sarcasm." I pointed out before placing my hands in my back pockets.

"What does not answering pages mean?" Scott asked going back to the more important subject.

"It means that nobody can find him, so now they have to wait for the on call to get here." I answered and Scott nodded his head understanding.

Melissa seemed pretty impressed but I tended to know a lot of things because Mom was pretty much a medical geek when it came to that stuff.

A women who looked like she was in serious pain walked over to us half-sobbing. "Miss."

"Yes?" Melissa turned round to face her and I furrowed my eyebrows watching.

"Excuse me, can I kind of please have something for the pain?" She whimpered and I felt a feeling of sorrow starting to build up inside me.

"Okay, I'm sorry. I know. But, actually, giving you something could complicate things, so we really just need to wait for the doctors. Okay?" Melissa tried calming down the patient trying to make everything okay and she nodded her head easing her wag back down to her seat.

Melissa went back to the front desk and I quickly pointed my head to the Patient and he nodded his head as we both sat down in either side of her.

"Uh, you know, I think that I read online that sometimes human contact can help with pain." Scott made up some excuse and I nodded my head going along with it.
