when lunch time arrived, shiho went to the school cafeteria with sanha as per usual. they were casually chatting about the performance for the school festival when someone placed his food tray on the table.

seeing sunwoo leisurely took a seat across her, shiho couldn't help but send him a puzzled look. then, hyunjoon and eric also joined them.

sanha clearly wasn't happy with the interruption. he forcefully swallowed the half-chewed food inside his mouth and grumbled, "what are you guys going here?"

"eating. can't you see?" sunwoo plainly answered, obviously unaffected with sanha's unwelcoming look. then, he turned his eyes to look at shiho, his gaze was intimidating, and began eating his food without moving his eyes away from her.

under his heavy gaze, shiho couldn't help from feeling flustered which resulted her in almost choking with her food and coughing uncontrollably.

"are you okay?" sanha quickly passed her a piece of tissue. "i'll go get you some water." with a worried look, he left the table in a hurry.

sunwoo watched her silently until she managed to stop her coughing. her eyes turned red and her throat burned badly. from the corner of her eyes, she saw sunwoo deliberately took hyunjoon's unopened juice bottle and placed it in front of her.

"drink this."

beside him, hyunjoon's face was a mixture of disbelief and betrayal. he looked as if he was about to cry and he turned to eric for sympathy. eric coaxed him gently, "it's okay. it's for his girlfriend anyway. to sunwoo, shiho is more important than us. we should learn our place by now, brother."

hearing that, shiho quickly refused and pushed the bottle back to its original owner. "take it back. i'll just wait for sanha to return." her voice was hoarse as she spoke and she glanced at sunwoo in dismay.

hyunjoon's smile returned and he was about to reach for his juice when a hand grabbed it first. the owner of the hand – kim sunwoo shot him a look and hyunjoon's pitiful hand slowly retreated away, and he turned to sob at eric again.

"don't mind him. i paid for it anyway." the way sunwoo said it was too intimidating that shiho was too scared to refuse again. she sent an apologetic look to hyunjoon and quickly drank the juice under sunwoo's forceful gaze.

she continued eating after that. this time, she learnt her lesson and kept her head down as she ate her food, purposely avoiding his gaze. sanha returned not long after that, with a bottle of water in his hands. "here, your water. sorry if i took too long, teacher han suddenly asked me to run an errand for him just now."

"it's okay." shiho smiled gratefully, "thank you for the water, sanha."

sunwoo suddenly put his spoon and chopsticks down and looked at shiho, "are you done eating?"

shiho was bewildered but she nodded anyway.

sunwoo stood up and took his food tray, "then, come with me." his eyes held a meaningful gaze as he smirked dangerously, "you and i, we need to have a serious talk."

*bonus part:

when sunwoo forcefully dragged him into joining the class's team for the school festival, hyunjoon was so ready to declare a war against sunwoo.

but during lunch time, the sly culprit named kim sunwoo suddenly offered a peace treaty, in which he would buy hyunjoon something as a compensation for forcing him to join the activity. as the chance for kim sunwoo treating him was as rare as a blue moon, hyunjoon reluctantly chose to drop the war plan and asked sunwoo to buy him the most expensive drink available in the vending machine.

who knows the one who got to taste the expensive, precious drink was not him, but the culprit's own girlfriend. he felt so wronged to death and could only cry to eric for the unfair treatment.

however, just when hyunjoon was planning ways to take his revenge to sunwoo in his head, the latter suddenly gave him a 10,000 KRW and said calmly, "go buy your juice and drink it until you are satisfied. after that, you are not to complain anymore."

this 10,000 KRW could buy him three bottles of juice in total. this ultimate tsundere move from sunwoo made hyunjoon's fragile heart softened and he no longer remembered all his sufferings earlier.

as hyunjoon was touched to death by sunwoo, shiho suddenly passed him the water bottle she got from sanha and smiled gently, "i'm sorry for taking your drink. in return, you can have this."

then she quickly scurried off to follow sunwoo.

in conclusion, that day, hyunjoon had declared that no matter what happens, he would always support shiwoo cp, no matter what happened, all the way until the end!
