Review:
Another anime classic. It may be a great influence to a lot of hit movies but in my opinion, it is only great because its concept and aesthetics was beyond its time.
It may be one of the legendary classics in the anime world, but the animated version didn't give justice to the awesomeness of the manga. The story's progress was so bad that they failed to answer these questions:
How did things turn that way?
What is the significance of Akira?
Who is this/that character and why are in this movie?
Why the fck did it have to end that way?
Such a waste of good animation. I suggest you should read the manga for more context.

Favorite character/s:
Kaneda. I find him a bit charming. I admire him for going to full-lengths for his cocky psychic friend.
