Review:
To be honest, I only watched this series because of the "Renai Circulation" outbreak but it was disappointing that it only showed up in the Snake arc. The anime has a unique style of narration that is quirky yet captivating at the same time. There are some frames that I find aesthetic and some --unnecessary, it makes me wonder if the animators are lazy or it is just a way for them to portray creativity. As for the plot, the "removing monsters" action-packed scenes are cool but somehow it makes me think was just a front for Araragi's harem, which I think is the main theme of the story. Also, I find Araragi's lolicon tendencies can be a complete turn-off, but it gets overshadowed whenever he becomes a monster punching bag.
Overall, I only feel so-so while watching this anime. It took me months to finish it because it didn't get me hooked. I love the animation tho. The plot... not so.
