Legend of The Wings of Freedom (Levi x Reader) [[Hiatus]]

Chapter 25

"Aw come on Shortcake!  Why are you in such a hurry?! I was about to taste the water if it is true that the sea is salty!" Hanji said then pout as we passed through my portal

Now we're in the seashore of Dark Island and just as it's name says this island is full of darkness. The sunlight doesn't  reach here due to dark clouds that covered the sky. Even though it's slightly dark I notice there is a mountain at the center of the island and there is a little light at the peak of it.

"Umm.... I didn't expect this place is sooo creepy," Hanji said then hide behind me

"Tch! I thought you're not scared because I will protect you"

"Oh!  I take it back! Hehehe"

"Stupid glasses,"  I only mutter

"Don't be so harsh on her, that's what makes her Hanji," Clint said in his British accent

"I wonder what other people react when you speak in that accent when you investigate in Wall Rose and Sina," I said

"Oh sorry! I tried not to speak in British accent but my tongue won't cooperate," He protest

"Yeah, yeah I know, no one's perfect," I said then brush him off "By the way stay close to me, the demon already knows we're here "

Then we walk on the dark woods. As we walk deeper in the woods, the more the trees look even more creepier. It's a total silence not even an insect can be heard only our footsteps on the decaying branches are the only sound.  I can say a total silence can also be uncomfortable in ears and in addition there is an eerie feeling and makes me think I'm going to discover something bigger other than the Sundrop Flower.

"Wait!"

"Oh what the hell!" Both Hanji and Clint exclaim in unison

"Ssshhhh! "

Then I snap my fingers and a floating boat apppears.

"Wooaaa! What is that thing?!" Hanji said in awe

"Two of you ride on the boat," I command

"So this is what the boat looks like," Hanji said with wonder "But I thought boat only works on water"

"You idiot, this boat floats in the air because of my magic"

"Oh right,"

Then two of them ride on the boat

"Wait, what about you?" Hanji ask

"I'll stay down here"

"Eh?  Why?"

"I'll get something first "

"Be careful  shortcake," Hanji said with worry

"I will, "

Then the boat leave with two of them riding on it. I decided to place them above where the danger will cannot reach them but can see my movements.  I continue on walking and became alert on my surroundings.

Hanji's pov. 

"What!  The boat is moving on it's own!" I exclaim

"She controll this boat while finding that demon," Clint answer

"Huh? Demon?" I ask curiously

"She told us before that there is Guardian Demon here. Just as it's name implies, the demon is the one guarding this Island so no one will get the Sundrop Flower easily. She told me once that every demon have special ability, like speed,  telekenesis, teleportation, creating fantasies or illusions and many more. Some demons have two abilities or even three. So she make us ride this boat so we cannot approach the demon and get ourselves killed. She haven't figured out what ability does the Guardian demon have and as much as I want to help her I can't our enemy is not human." Clint explain in his british accent
