Chapter 5

"Attention, all!!" Commander shout

Everyone form a line and listen

"From today, these three will be fighting alongside you all!Introduce yourselves!" Commander announced

Levi crossed his arms like he doesn't care

"The name's Levi" Levi introduce himself

Most cadets expected him to say something more but nothing came so they became confused

"Levi... the first thing you'll need is some goddam discipline,Next!" Commander said with authority

Isabel step forward and introduce herself cheerfully

"I'm Isabel Magnolia! Nice ta meetcha!"

"My name is...Farlan Church" Farlan introduce himself

"Flagon, these three will be assigned to your squad,Look after them, commander order Flagon

"M-my squad,sir?"

"Are you dissatisfied?" Commander asked

"N-no, but shouldn't Erwin... " Flagon was cut off

"Erwin is tasked with the soldiers' formation.The new recruits will be your responsibility,Is that understood?"

"Yes sir!understood!"  Flagon said with salute

I can see Flagon is pissed off then he look at Levi

When it's almost sunset,Flagon lead three of them to the barracks so I follow them

"What are you doing here? You're not in my squad' Flagon said then roll his eyes

"Do you want cleaning duties that badly?" I say darkly

He tense up when he remember I give him last time some cleaning duties because of disrespecting me.So he shook his head then turn his back and continue walking towards the barracks while the three of them look at me curiously while walking.

" Well those three are interesting and I don't have my own squad so it would be fun atleast if I will also look after them" I say keeping my cool

Soon we reach their barracks

"These are the barracks" Flagon said while entering the room then they also enter and I'm the last to enter

"These are quite few" Farlan said while staring at the surroundings

"Yay!We're all in the same room!" Isabel said full of joy

"Women have a seperate section" Flagon said to Isabel

"What?!But I wanna stay here!" Isabel whine

"You two men will sleep here" Flagon said

Levi walk closer to the his bed,ooooh clean freak alert!!!Then he rub his fingers under the top bunk bed and he can feel the dust in his fingers.His aura has darken and two of them notice Levi except Flagon.

"You lot have been living in the dumps of the underground but do try to keep this place clean" Flagon said raising his eyebrows

"Huh?" Levi said furrowing his eyebrows

I watch him with amusement in the door,arms crossed and my back rested on the door frame

"Wh..what's with that look?how dare you approach a superior officer with that attitude-" Flagon's words cut off when Farlan gets in between Flagon and Levi

"Ahahaha sorry!got it. We'll try to keep the place clean" Farlan said then...oohhh he did a salute but his fist is upside down

"Tch. You'll begin training first thing tomorrow, got it?" Flagon said then turn about to leave but I block him

"Flagon, doesn't mean they come from underground it means they don't know how to clean and cadet! your fist is upside down" I say keeping my cool

" You tell me that those three undergound scums know how to clean" Flagon said raising his eyebrows

'His attitude again grrrrr!! he even called them underground scums right in front of those cadets'

"Flagon,if you want to gain their respect you must respect them first and yes they know how to clean,especially that cadet he is a clean freak,like me" I say then point at Levi

Three of them has shock faces and since Flagon couldn't take it anymore he left wahahaha!!

"Um maam?" Isabel ask

"Yes?"

"How do you know Levi-bro is a clean freak?" Isabel ask

"It's a secret"  I said plainly because I don't want them to know that I know their story or what will happen next because I watch them from anime

"Who are you?" Levi ask

"oh! How rude I am for not introducing myself, by the way I'm the Sergeant of Survey Corps nice to meet you all cadets"

"only sergeant? No name-" Farlan was cut off by Isabel

"Farlan, haven't you heard about the story" Isabel warn

"O..oh right, sorry for my attitude Sergeant it won't happen again" Farlan apologized then salute, this time he salute correctly

"It's all right Cadet Church, and I also apologize on behalf of Squad Leader Flagon for his attitude towards you"

"You don't have to apologize Sergeant, Flagon's right we were just criminals who come from underground district and we are so lucky that Erwin needs us" Isabel admit

"I understand all your situations,you only do that so you can survive, by the way I have an important meeting so I will take my leave and I know you will meet my expectations when it comes to cleaning especially you Levi, I hope you will have a peaceful stay here" then I start to walk and leave their barracks immediately

Levi's pov.

Then the sergeant is now out of our sight

"Don't pull any more stunts like that, Levi, Weve got enough eyes on us already" Farlan said

"Did you not hear what that piece of shit was spouting out of his piece shit of mouth?"

"We weren't just caught by accident, you know, I hope you haven't forgotten why were here,Levi"  Farlan reminded me

"Yeah I know"

"The survey corps will likely come after you, Be sure to put up a little resistance,There are two thing I'll have you do for me...First, you'll obtain a certain document which is in the possession of Erwin Smith, and secondly, to kill the Survey Corps' squad leader...Erwin Smith, Those are you jobs"  Nicholas Lobov instructed us while he is inside the carriage

"Isabel, what do you mean a story just minute ago when Sergeant introduce herself?" I ask

" 3 weeks ago Farlan and I take a walk and we heard two military police talk about the new Sergeant of Survey Corps" Isabel started

"Yeah, no one has seen sergeant's face even her name they have no idea, many officers from Military Police and Garisson tried to persuade Commander Keith about the Sergeant but no response.They stop persuading Commander Keith because Commanders from Military Police and Garisson ordered their officers to stop even the leader of three military forces Darius Zackley made his move so no one will know sergeant's identity, strange right?" Farlan explain

"Here's another one, many officers said no one yet defeated her in hand to hand combat and her skills are unbelievable so that's the reason she immediately got the higher position even though she just join Survey Corps two months ago. Many people said she is a clean freak, genius and cold hearted, at first I was so shock when I saw you get captured by her because you are skilled in hand to hand combat but when she introduced herself a minute ago, no doubt she really is a Sergeant" Isabel added

"So we need to be alert or the Sergeant will know about our true objective" I announced

'Who is she? I know right at the moment the way she looks at me when I was captured by her, she knows exactly who I am. Sergeant, who are you?the girl who is full of mysteries'
