Chapter 19

The little five years old me went to underground district together with my mom to visit her close friend. We passed many streets until we reach a certain house. My mom look at me then knock at the door.

"Wait! I'll be right there!" Someone shouts from inside

Soon the door open and we're greeted by a woman with a long black hair but her face is a blurr.

"Kuchel, I miss you!!" my mom exclaimed

"Mira!!"  Kuchel says then hug my mom

The woman looks at me

"Oh! Y/N!" The woman exclaimed then pinch my cheeks "Hey!! Y/N is here!!!"

"What!!!" someone shouts from inside then a kid the same age as me with raven hair in undercut but his face is blurr and I can't see his face clearly .Now he ran towards his mom "Where is she-"

His words cut off when he see me

"Yow! Hey Mr. Clean!" I wave at him then we fist bump.

Our mom chuckled at what we did.

"Come inside! It's cold out here" the woman said then open their door wider.

The kid grab my little hand then pull me inside their house. The woman close the door and gestured us to sit. They start their conversation then they laugh at their experience. I look at the kid then smile at him.

"What are you smiling at?" The kid ask then furrowed his eyebrows

"Nothing! I just..... I just miss you Mr. Clean!!!! " Then I hug him

"I miss you too brat!" Then he return my hug

"Aww look at our kids! They're so cute!" Kuchel swoon

We noticed our mom looking at us so we break our hug then look away.

"You know Kuchel, come with us at the surface, you know it's dangerous here, and don't worry I'll help you getting a new job," Mom said with concern

Kuchel seems in deep thought then she looks at the kid.

"I can't" the woman finally says

"Why not?"

"You already know the king wanted to execute our families that's why I'm here..... To hide" the woman says then cry and hug the kid

Soon Kuchel stop crying.

"Can you give us a minute?Privately," Mom ask

"Oh of course," then I held the kid's hand and pull him away so we can give them a space to talk.

We enter their kitchen then I let go of his hand. My head hung low because I don't know if should tell him or not.

"Mr. Clean.....the reason why we visit....it's because we're leaving .... I'm s-sorry," Then I cried while my head still hung low

The kid try to register what I said then he freaked out

"So you're totally leaving me behind? Huh?! "

I look at him

"Mr. Clean it's not that I want to leave you, you're my best friend, but my mom said someone's going to kill us so we have to leave, I-i promise I'll come back to you soon "

He look at me thinking about something then he take a step closer at me.

"You will not going to forget me right?" He ask
