Ren handed her report to Mori and went to researching. She made a quick phone call and began walking down to an alley which was far away from Mafia headquarters, bringing along an extra gun. The streets weren't as familiar, and the alley was small and secluded, with no room to hide so people couldn't spy. Water intermittently dripped from the gutters, forming small puddles on the floor where various rats and bugs scuttled about, their claws softly scratching on the concrete. Ren's footsteps echoed across the pavement, ringing out through the alley, which had scuff marks and blood stains on it, some old and some new. Even though it was broad daylight, it looked like it was night, and she leaned against the wall and waited. The silence was eerie, with the distant crashing of waves in the background, and even though she was alone, it was as if the souls who had died in that alley were constantly watching and whispering to each other, exchanging various secrets. She turned her head, and someone was standing there, seemingly waiting for her.

"Do you have it?" Ren questioned, looking at the other person, who seemed to be as intimidating as her, with eyes of molten gold and chestnut hair.

"Of course. Show me the gun. And I trust that you are alone." Ren brought out the gun and did a demonstration, shooting it without loading a bullet, the sound of the gunshot ricocheting off the walls, and gave it to the person standing with her, as she looked behind her suspiciously.

"Old fashioned revolver, since that's how you like it." Ren put her hands in her pockets.

"Here's your information." Ren took the file and inspected it, reading it through carefully.

The other person waited patiently as Ren checked across all the information written in the file, putting it down and looking back up.

"Alright. I'll take it." They looked at each other, nodding.

"I'll see you around, Midnight."

"Yes. You too, Crimson." They shook hands firmly and began walking away from each other.

As soon as she was out of earshot, Ren sighed, walking back to headquarters, reading over the report again as soon as she got back to her desk, taking a more thorough look.

"Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald, leader of The Guild. Ability: The Great Fitzgerald. Able to gain physical power equivalent to the amount of money he spends and is not limited to objects not counted as 'money' for example rings. 12 years my senior and 191cm. Hm... his daughter is dead but his wife is under the illusion that she is studying abroad. Then there's Louisa May Alcott, John Steinbeck, Mark Twain, Lucy Maud, Margaret Mitchell, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Herman Melville, Edgar Allen Poe and Lovecraft. He might not be entirely human... I'll keep that in mind. All gift users, no permit. Interesting." She read through the file and the reports of some of her subordinates.

She tapped her fingers on the desk, sorting out the information in her head and forming a profile of the Guild members mentally, reading through the file multiple times to gauge how powerful they were and what their weaknesses were.

"REN!" Chuuya came barging into her office.

"What?"

"So, the Guild is sending threats to the Port Mafia. How much of a threat will they pose? I'm asking you because you're most likely to have that information." He answered the questions she would normally ask if he came to her, making sure not to miss any.

"Well I just finished forming their profiles. They are all gift users and they might be targeting either the Port Mafia or the Armed Detective Agency because they don't have an Ability Permit, and they would want to be able to use their special abilities legally. They would pose quite a threat." Chuuya nodded slowly.
