("16 Years ago...")

"Karin. Are you spacing out again?" ?The red headed soon to be mother glanced behind her right shoulder as Karin view the village from their High balcony residence. Sasuke approaching Karin from behind pulling her in as he wrap his large hands around Karin's pregnant belly. 

"Sasuke-kun..." Karin's worries and stress always left once he embrace her. " How do you know I was spacing out? Did you use your Sharnigan again?" Karin joke. Holding onto Sasuke's hands.

"Hm. It doesn't take the Sharnigan for me to know certain things with you Karin. I just do. Early morning sunrises were always a thing for you. Even way back then..." Sasuke pointing out. As the both of them were seeing the Leaf village wake up for the day. As the Sun started to peak out from the horizon valley hills.  

"Back then? No wonder I felt a presence lurking from behind each time. Wasn't me going crazy then." Karin catching Sasuke's tongue. With an irresistible soft face she gave as she turn to look straight up towards Sasuke. 

"Well you always woke me up with your soft humming each time. Not that I hated it." Sasuke still acting rough around the edges but deep down Karin knew who Sasuke truly was. It's a thing they always had, never said but understood. The lone Uchiha mentioning Karin's humming being the reason to why he could never sleep actually mean't Sasuke really cared for it. What a complicated way to show affection. 

"Hehehe. Sasuke- kun like always is so cute when trying to be nice." Karin pecking a small kiss to Sasuke's sharp but tender cheekbones. Sasuke closed his eyes in slight embarrassment but loved it when Karin ambush him with her sweet kisses. 

In that moment Karin and Sasuke saw the morning sunrise rise right in front of them as the sun fiercely made its way higher and higher into the early fall sky. Beautiful each time. It was the second after the birds started to chirp when Karin felt a kick coming from within the womb. 

"Karin did you feel that! The baby kick! I felt it with my hand." Sasuke with a big smile placed his cheek up against Karin's. 

"I did! This baby has so much energy I tell yah! She's going to be a really strong shinobi Ya'know! Definitely  take after me too. She'll probably have my slight attitude and catch phrases! For sure have Sasuke-kun's devilish smirk and-!" Karin's fast run on sentences were almost too hard for Sasuke to catch up on. The only way to make it stop was to grab Karin by the cheek and turn her face to Sasuke's... silencing her with a smooch. 

"SsSsshhh. As always you talk too fast." Sasuke said while giving Karin a smirk that she called "the devils smile". "What makes you think the baby will be all those things? He or she could be the complete opposite from us." Sasuke questioned. 

Karin stood for a second bearing Sasuke's hand who still held her soft cheeks, pecking him back for Karin will have the last kiss. 

"Because... I'm her mother.. I just know it." 

Karin and Sasuke stood together as they gaze at one another in love. The moment couldn't get any better the two thought, but it did. As the two were wanting to kiss again something unexpected happen. A contraction. Follow by another which gave a lot of pressure. The baby was coming! Sasuke holding onto to Karin as she struggle to take a step, squeezing his hand tight. The protective husband decided he would carried his pregnant wife to the hospital. For she will have a safe delivery. Today was the day that Karin and Sasuke will meet their bundle of joy....

Without each other the very same man and woman from that very same day happened to be reminiscing that particular memory. Under the same midnight sky. As both said the other's name in a whisper. Forever lock into each other's hearts...
