Flashes of light descended far into the forest brightening up every shadow that darken the area. Winds approach outward from the great force of the explosion. Pushing anything near away. The Susano stopping and containing the worst of it. However anything within the warrior apparition stood in the core of complete destruction. Realization of such outcome tore Kaiya Uchiha, such a brutal way for ones life-her fathers life- to end. It hadn't been the idea itself that last stay in the young girls train of thought before completely blacking out, but Sasuke's tender gesture on Kaiya's forehead. She really felt the pure love from it.
"Papa!!!"
Kaiya screamed in total loss.
Sasuke himself appearing further and further away once Kaiya made it to her mother Karin. His hand out to the both of them. Smiling until the very end.
Kaiya remembering her Uncle using his Nine Tails cloak to put all three of them into a protective shield from the explosions force. The moment everything turn bright and the loud bang cancel every other sound out, is when Kaiya could no longer remember anything else. Just only black.
----------------------------------------
The room appeared to be hollow.
No terrain. No bodies of Water. Not even a blue sky.
Just a white room.
"A distorted echoing voice..."
Until..
The louder the voice became the more their energy, their chakra felt very familiar, warm.
"I recognize that voice.."
Closing ones eyes to concentrate even better on the individual's voice lead to Sasuke hearing them as close as if they were right in front. Their soft and gentle hand now rested on the Raven's cheek. Curiosity grew too immensely to not see. What happened next was something Sasuke didn't have words for.
"Hehehe.. don't tell me you've forgotten about me? Your own mother?" Said the endearing Mikoto.
Sasuke's mother.
"My little boy isn't a boy no more. It's been so long since I've last seen you. Right in front of me. You have grown up to become a man now. Very handsome. Of course just like Fugaku- your father." Mikoto chuckled as she tilted her head to one side. Holding her son's face.
This couldn't be real. This couldn't be happening right now. Could it?
Sasuke's mind travel at fast speeds to try to grasp the situation, if mother was standing right here and right here now it meant it was happening. This isn't some sort of genjutsu.
But the afterlife.
Sasuke for first time in a very long time felt like if he was that young boy again, always excited to rush home to Niissan, hungry to eat mother's food, determine to earn father's approval as a strong ninja. Feeling again when his life was first Happy.
"Hm? Sasuke.. you're crying." Mikoto wiping the endless tears of her son.
"Mo..Mo.. Mother.." Sasuke finally spoke. Wrapping his arm around her. Tightly holding Mikoto close.
"Yes.. of course its me Sasuke." Mikoto softly saying. Reassuring her son that indeed their moment was real.
Her black long hair perceive very soft against Sasuke's face. Mother smelled like lavender as if she just got done caring for her garden. Something she'd love doing. Nothing about Mother was off. Nevertheless Mother's skin appeared youthful, gleaming bright, a real beauty. Like if she never died.
