"What the hell did I just do?" Karin couldn't help but think to herself, why did she fall so easily again? That was the very thing she try to prevent. However history was repeating itself. "What am I going to do?"......"Does he even want kids?"......"Does Sasuke even love me?" The vicious cycle of what if was tearing Karin's mind. Everything happen too quick. Definitely there's was no turning back. Karin biggest fear was her unborn child, she didn't want the child to grow in the same lifestyle she did. Abuse and used. Karin could remember it all like it was yesterday and all it brought was the suffering. She even came to forget what her own mother's voice sounded like. After a few moments Karin started thinking... What if this baby could have a different life? A loving atmosphere, something that Karin always wanted. A chance for Karin to give her unborn baby all those things. Maybe this is the path that Karin is meant to go on. Soon reality hit her like light bulb.
"A mother huh? Hmm. Hehe I never thought I would see this day." Karin said to herself. Caressing her belly.
"I'm going to give you the life that you deserve. The love you need. I promise." Karin sincerely said to her child in the womb.

The next couple weeks were an awful time for Karin, ever since Sasuke and her found out that they were expecting a child, Sasuke became kinda distance with her. Sasuke would help her with anything she needed and they still were living together. But things weren't the same like before. Sasuke would keep it sort with her. Not really say much. This morning when Sasuke and Karin got up for breakfast, he didn't really want to look at her. As if now... Sasuke is now starting to avoid her. Yet they sleep in the same bed. Right before Sasuke headed out to go meet at the Hokage's office Karin decided to attempt one more time to make conversation with him.
"How things going with the situation of the attacks? Any leads?" Karin stuttered.
"They are the same. I'm checking out a lead today that our prisoner gave Intel on." Sasuke having his back turn towards her. Applying his cloak.
" Oh I see... Are you going alone then?" Karin still looking at him from behind. Couldn't help but be worried for Sasuke's safety.
"Yes." Sasuke sounding like his old young cold-free self. Whose words sounded like vermin when determine and nothing else matters.
" Okay.. Just be careful.. Sasuke." Karin said with a loving tone. Her words soft and caring.
Sasuke stood for a moment in silence.
"Don't wait up for me tonight.." Sasuke said before walking out the front door and Karin once again feeling completely alone.

The rest of the day Karin did some cleaning in the house and decided to head down to the food market to pick out some things to make dinner. Yes Karin knew how to cook. Definitely something that even Jugo and Suigestu wouldn't believe. To them she was the troublesome girl. The markets were busy today and Karin wasn't use to large groups of people. Wasn't her style. After all she did live in a hideout away from civilization for quite sometime. Back when Karin followed Orochimaru. Villagers kept bumping into her and Karin felt as she was a human ping pong bouncing from every direction. Finally she made it to the veggie stands. Tomatoes would be the first thing Karin would buy and use to make a tomato with rice dish. Something different. Hopefully a dish Sasuke would like.
"I didn't think I would run into you here?" Karin hearing a small voice from behind her. Surprise she could hear whoever was talking.
"Oh! Hinata! I just came to get some groceries." Karin replied. Hinata still had a question face.
