The morning sunlight made its way through the white color sheer curtains, exposing all darkness, waking the young teen from a slumber sleep. The red headed girl squinting her eyes at first in order to break the crusted layer between the eyelids. Able to see clearly, Kaiya quickly saw that someone had covered the unconscious one last night. Not with her own sheets but a cloak instead. This one was big in size and look like it could fit a man, maybe someone like her uncle Naruto. Although Naruto had a custom cloak made that had "Seventh Hokage" embroidered. So no way this was Uncle Naruto's.
-Flashbacks-
"Kaiya!! Stop!!"
"You can do it.."
"Are you okay?.."
All those memories came back to Kaiya and she felt a bit bad that she could've hurt Boruto severely if Sasuke-san hadn't been there. What kind of power was that? Chains? Not to mention the power within her eyes. All of it didn't make sense.
Kaiya swore she could feel a headache come on.
"Its an ability that only the Uchiha clan possess..." Sarada's voice echoing as Kaiya remembers the first time where she first heard it. About the clan and their most famous power... the Sharnigan. Is it really possible that's what Kaiya saw in herself yesterday? The Sharnigan?
"This is so annoying. Mom isn't an Uchiha. But.. Maybe my dad is?" Kaiya thought hard to herself. A good way to find out was the Leaf library where every clan and their heritage had been documented into books. Along with other useful info.
Most certainly its important to fine more of her mother but to know of Kaiya's father is just as essential. Who knows maybe that was the last piece to Kaiya's beginning, her story.
"Its worth a look." Kaiya said to herself holding still the jet black cloak in her hands. Remembering the photo she saw of her mother and Sasuke-san together as a team. "If Sasuke-san and Mom were teammates than for sure he would know of my father. Maybe he can help me figure this stuff out."
-------------------------------------------
Last nights dinner started rather late than early once Sasuke arrived home from the Uzumaki residences. Sarada didn't mind the late evening supper, she only cared of her father presences. Sasuke was thankful he didn't break his promise to her. Considering stuff like this was kinda tricky for the formal lone wolf.
Sasuke with only his arm struggle a bit to button his own buttons this morning. Sakura overseeing offered to help right away. Taking the chance to interact with him in anyway.
"Oh Sasuke! I'll give you hand! Here." Sakura dropping a basket of clothes to one side before speed walking towards Sasuke. "Handsome as always Sasuke.. Hey just know too you don't have to sleep on the couch tonight. The futon in my room is big enough for the two us."
Sakura staring deeply onto Sasuke's lips, grazing her right hand over the Uchiha's structural jaw line.
The one thing that must be clear for Sasuke, is to not mix one matter with another. Sasuke now assumed his responsibility with both Sarada and Kaiya. But another love? Is a matter rather or not Sasuke can ever create with someone else again. He failed Karin. The wound still remain opened as his love for her.
"Sakura.. I appreciate you always helping me but we can't. I'll be okay on the couch." Sasuke turned away from her grasp forgetting his cloak was still with Kaiya as he tried to look for it. "Please tell Sarada I'll be back before supper this time." Seeing himself out of the front door.
The desperation rising to its peak let itself go as Sakura tried to reach out and grab onto Sasuke.
"Sasuke-kun! Just wait! Why don't we go out as a family tonight? I'm sure Sarada would enjoy it much more!" Sakura staying real close giving a bit of room for Sasuke to breath.
