"No homo, right?"..."Very homo."

Cross was awoken by a low voice cursing. In the quiet of his room, he could hear a familiar fizzling and he could smell something delicious. "...Cross." He shifted, grumbling slightly as he sat up to squint into the darkness of his room. Bright mismatched eyelights glowed back, confirming his previous thoughts. "...mhmph." Error huffed in amusement as Cross flopped back into his large and fluffy pillows, pulling the comforter up over his head. "C'mon, sit up. I brought you breakfast." Cross mumbled something that he didn't understand, hearing Error laugh. "I guess you don't want hot chocolate then?" At the words, Cross was instantly wide awake, shooting up with wide sockets and fumbling for the lamp switch. Error chuckled at this, shifting the tray in his hands so he could sit on the bed. Cross was bouncing slightly in excitement, his white and red eyelights completely focused on the steam rising from the mug. There was a cartoony cow's face on it. He ignored it, licking his teeth in anticipation. Cross fucking loved anything that was chocolate.

Error moved to tray to sit it on Cross's lap, using his strings to suspend it momentarily while he moved to join Cross under the blankets. Cross glanced at him, slightly confused. Error was haphephobic, so he never really initiated physical contact. So when Error cuddled up to Cross's side, the monochrome was justifiably confused. "Uh.." Error flushed brightly, a scowl forming. "Shut up." Cross snickered, "You're acting a little sweet today, ain'tcha? What's the occasion?" Error puffed his cheeks out slightly, embarrassed. "...I can't be nice to my boyfriend?" Cross blushed, shaking his head quickly. "No, that's not what I mean. You don't usually do things like this, so I'm a tad surprised." Error shrugged and snuggled into Cross's side again. "Just enjoy it while it lasts." Cross smiled, and reached for the mug, taking a long sip. He offered some to Error, grinning smugly when he knew he couldn't refuse. Error loved chocolate just about as much as Cross did. Instead of taking the mug, Error tilted his head and lapped at the sweet brown drink like a puppy. Cross's face was flooded with heat at the sight of Error's tongues, memories flashing through his mind of certain nights. Error's smirk told him that he knew exactly what Cross was thinking.

Across the hall, Nightmare glared at Cross's bedroom door, hating the influx of positivity, but not bothering to do anything. He wasn't about to ruin his gangmate's happiness. So instead of storming in and forcing Cross and Error apart, Nightmare stood up and left in search of Killer. He wanted to cuddle as well.

Inside the room, Cross was taking his last few sips before letting Error drink the rest. While his boyfriend was busy with the mug, Cross eyed the tray in front of him. There was a large plate covered with a big dome thing. Whatever was beneath it, it smelled heavenly. Curious, Cross peeked inside and was slapped in the face with the overwhelming smell of strawberries and chocolate. Cross ended up nearly throwing the lid across the room, staring down at his plate in awe of the absolutely perfect pancakes staked on the plate. Golden, fluffy pancakes laced with chocolate and topped with sliced strawberries and whipped cream. Cross summoned his tongue without thinking, drooling at the smell rising from the round pieces of perfection. A small knife materialized in his hand, and he grabbed the fork on the tray with his other hand. He proceeded to cut the pancake stack in half, cutting small pieces off to feed to Error and himself. But mostly Error.

It took thirty minutes to finish the stack, and once they did, Cross set the tray on the ground and settled back into his pillows. "That was nice. We should do this more often." Error mumbled in response, sockets half shut with contentment. Cross gently pulled his glitchy boyfriend closer, nuzzling him happily. Error purred quietly, relaxing in Cross's hold, and relishing in the warmth. It didn't take long for them to doze off.

Later on, they were awoken by Nightmare yelling at Horror for putting slime in the bathtub and Dust screaming bloody murder while running away from Killer.
