Mia King's POV
"You guys aren't a normal duo are you?"Romeo laughed
"Of course not normal is boring" Sky replied
We were on our way back home as sky and Romeo were in the front seat I sat back and watched as the two talked as if they've been friends for years and i started to think about how this is what I would have taken away from her if i have left i guess it's a good thing i didn't .
Bringing me out of thoughts was Romeo's question "So what's got you girls living out here,aren't you supposed to be in college or something?????"
"What'd you care" I said almost right away
"I'm just forming conversation is all" he said
"We just aren't ready for college right now" I said
After that a silence surrounded the car for about 5 minutes before Romeo went back to flirting with Sky.
"Do you have a boyfriend Skylar" He chirped
"No,why do you ask" Sky smirked knowingly
"Well seeing as I was your knight in shining armour back there, I think it's only fair that I get a date" Romeo spoke.
"You're far from a knight Romeo, don't flatter yourself and it's not like I was one of those damsel in distress" Sky sassed.
"Then why'd u call me?" Romeo queried.
I laughed and Sky turned around glaring at my I just shrugged and mouthed "You know we needed him" causing her to give me a eye roll and turning back around
"Yes"sky said nonchalantly
"Yes what?" Romeo inquired
"Yes I'll go on a date with you just to satisfy your ego for getting a girl like me" She quipped
"No you're going because you like me,just admit it" he smirked
"There's nothing to admit" She spoke
"Certo cosa bella" Romeo said shocking us
Yo-"Sapevo che avevi un accento" sky replied now leaving Romeo shocked causing us both to laugh
"I guess there's more to you than I thought bella" Romeo chuckled
"Yes there might be" Sky teased
"I'll pick you up on Saturday at 7pm sharp"romeo said
"That's great" Sky said.
Finally arriving home we hurried inside and made sure to lock all our locks while also double checking them just to ease the voices in our head
"Well it's a good thing we focused on foreign languages in school" Sky laughed as we sat on the couch.
"I was thinking that exact thing" I nodded "Andddddd I've never seen a convo flow so well for that long with a boy I thought you weren't sure about liking him" I continued
"I'm not sure but as of right now he seems okish don't you think i didn't even expect him to come to the rescue the way he did" She muttered
"Yea he's fine plus right next door so you wouldn't have to go far for your dick appointments" I smirked.
"Now that's just a bonus I'm glad to have" She replied
"Better make good use of it" I nudged
"Oh I plan too" She assured.
"Feed your dog Mia, he keeps biting my toes!!!!!!!" Sky Shouted as Max merely nipped at her toes.
"I will feed him but we both know he does that even if he's just had a full bowl" I spoke
"Just make him stop" She said
"You want me to stop the dog from saying he loves you,nope I'm not going to do that leave my baby alone at least he likes you" I told her
"Yea whatever im going to start the originals or vampire diaries you watching" Sky announced
"Of course bitch who misses out on that" I looked at Sky like she was on crack.
We ended up watching the vampires diaries but to be honest we mostly just admired Damon because he is babe with a good dose of psychotic and let's admit it we're all capable of being a psycho but Damon was brave enough to embrace it. You don't see that kinda stuff everyday nor in real life for that matter.
"We gotta stop obsessing over people that dont even know we exist" Sky whined
"You know we can't stop that plus we couldn't even help that books have set our standards high when it comes to men" I said making us both laugh.
Half way through season one I saw Sky passed out on the couch next to me, I started to feel thirsty and got up for a glass of water i spinned around with the glass in my hand to stand in the direction of the kitchen window and what I saw scared me a little.
There was a silhouette of a man seeming to be standing alone staring in the direction of our house I tried squinting to see if I can recognise who it is ,when the figure suddenly started waving at me i looked around outside to see if anyone was one around him and after I saw no one I stepped away from the window and went to wake up Sky.
"Heyyy sky wake up come on,I need you to wake up" I said shaking her arm
"Huh what the fuck are you waking me for oh my god ,Mia i will gut you like fish ,can't i catch some shut eye its been along day ,i will get the gun and shoot you in your damn leg...." Sky mumbled on sleepily.
"Shut the fuck up and listen" I whisper shouted
"This better be good or we'll take another trip to the hospital today" she spoke
"I saw someone at the window and I think the person waved at me" I rushed out
"WHAT!? are you sure" Sky shot up fully awake and alert scanning the room
"Yes" I assured
"Let me see" Sky said, getting up .
By the time Sky got up and went to the window the person was gone only leaving me more confused and I started to question myself on if I'm sure of what i saw.
"I don't know where he went, but i'm pretty sure it was Niklaus,i mean who else would just be standing watching the house. It's got to be him" I rattled on.
"Ok for now let's just go to sleep we'll sleep together in your room tonight just wait let me check the locks one more time you can go ahead I'll be there" Sky said.
After checking around the house Sky and I got settled in my room and after some time of trying to not psych ourselves out we fell asleep.
