Chapter 13: Confusion

Hanako's pov

He leaned in to kiss me again but I stopped him before he could.

"What is it?" he asked, annoyed.

I shrank back slightly.

"I'm sorry Sasuke," I said. "I j-just wanted to know... what are we exactly?"

He pulled away and sat up.

I sat up too and looked at him, waiting for an answer.

We sat there for what seemed like an eternity.

He stood up and said, "Get some sleep."

Then he walked back over to where he was sitting earlier.

I didn't sleep.

I just sat there with my knees pulled up to my chest and my back against a tree.

The next thing I knew, I was being shaken awake by Juugo.

"Hanako, wake up. It's morning."

I opened my eyes and found myself in the same position I was in when I fell asleep.

I stood up and stretched my legs.

We ate some breakfast, before going on our way again.

Sasuke seemed to be avoiding me.

I wanted to talk to him, but I didn't want to do it in front of the others.

Later in the afternoon, we stopped.

Sasuke pulled out a map of the Akatsuki hideouts.

"There's a hideout near here," he said.

He pointed to where on of the X's was marked on the map.

"There."

"What are we going to do then?" I asked. "Just march into there?"

"No. We'll split up and scout the area around it," he replied.

We walked until we came to the edge of the forest.

That's where we split up.

"I'll be going then," Suigetsu said.

"Uchiha Itachi, huh? I hope we're able to find him," Juugo said.

They both went off in a flash.

"I guess I'll be going too," I said.

And with that, I left.

Sasuke's pov

After Hanako left, Karin pressed herself against me.

"Sa-su-ke! I'll be staying with you Sasuke!" she said, in a girly voice.

"You go, too," I told her.

Immediately, she let go.

I heard a 'tch' as she began walking away.

I began walking through the forest.

About twenty minutes later, I heard something behind me.

I turned my head slightly.

"Come out. Who are you?"

A masked man came out from behind a tree.

His cloak was black with red clouds on it.

"That outfit... you're..."

"So you're Sasuke-kun, huh?" he said. "You sure look a lot like Itachi-san."

I tensed as he said that and gave him a glare.

"So scary!" he screamed, running back to hide behind a tree.

I heard noise from above me.

Two gigantic clay birds were flying at me with a blonde haired guy standing on top of one.

"KATSU!"

Hey guys!

I've decided that I'm going to rewrite my other story 'Not Strong Enough' a little bit differently. It won't be that different. I'm only gonna change a few minor details. I deleted it but I'll put it back up. I was going to change the storyline and plot for it but then I decided not to. So I'll put it back up when I have time.
