Chapter 9: Fangirls

Sorry I didn't update much this week. I had a really bad case of writer's block.
But here's a chapter! Hope you guys like it!

Sasuke's pov

I leaned in toward her face closing my eyes...

And whispered,"I told you, you'd become a fan girl, eventually."

Hanako's eyes shot open.

Smack!

"Jerk!" She yelled, angrily.

I sat up rubbing my cheek where she had punched me.

I looked up to see that she was walking away.

"Hanako!"

She ignored me.

I sighed and stood up, running after her.

I finally caught up to her and slowed down, walking beside her.

"Hanako, it was just a joke. I'm sorry I made you mad."

Hanako's pov

That jerk!

I can't believe he did that!

I stomped away, fuming.

"Hanako!" I heard him call.

"Hmph," I said to myself.

He came running after me.

When he finally caught up, he said, "Hanako, it was just a joke. I'm sorry I made you mad."

I turned to look at him.

"You'd better be sorry.That was cold!" I yelled.

He smirked.

I felt myself becoming a little less upset.

Wait. Why was I upset anyway?

Did I really expect him to kiss me?

I shook my head, trying to clear it.

What's happening to me?

"So, how've you been?" I asked.

"..."

I looked at his face.

He was staring straight ahead as if he were lost in thought.

I decided not to bother him.

We walked in silence the rest of the way.

Once we got to the village, Sasuke spoke again.

"We'll be staying here for two days, then we're leaving."

I nodded in response.

He lead me to an inn where we would be staying.

Inside, we were greeted by his teammates.

"Sasuke, you're already here? I thought you guys would take longer, if you know what I mean," Suigetsu said, winking.

I felt a blush creep up onto my cheeks.

Ew.

"Suigetsu, be quiet," Sasuke said.

We all stared at him.

He didn't even deny it!

I felt like I was dying of embarrassment.

I was about to say something when Sasuke began telling us about our sleeping arrangements.

"Hanako and Karin will share a room. Suigetsu, Juugo, and I will share a different room."

Well, we already knew that. It was obvious since Karin and I were the only girls in the group.

Karin and I made our way to the room.

I could feel her glaring at me the whole time.

When we finally reached our room and went inside, she said,"I don't know who you are, but Sasuke's mine so don't even try making a move on him."

I raised an eyebrow.

"Sure, he is," I said.

"I'm being serious!" She yelled. "If you try anything at all, I'll- I'll-"

"What? You're gonna hurt me? I'd like to see you try," I told her.

Her face turned red with fury and she stormed out of the room.

I sighed and sat down in the bed.

"These fangirls are becoming more and more annoying," I said, wearily.

I laid back onto the bed and fell asleep.
