"He didn't! He only gave us two." Dyson corrected however, Marco couldn't hear it and he didn't need to know that.
Grabbing his firearm, I kneed him in his abdomen followed by a hit on his nose. He groaned in agony clasping his hands over his bloodied nose and said, "Fine! I'll give you four million. Is that enough?"
I paused for a moment when four million dollars devoured my senses.
"Just finish him off!" Dyson muttered.
"Err… what about four million dollars?" I asked.
Millions matters, you know!
"Don't talk like a money obsessed bitch! Just grab the documents and kill him. You don't have enough time," He shouted his voice reaching the sky and I looked around and my gaze fell on a small square briefcase.
"What's this?" I asked pointed at the silver briefcase.
Marco looked horrified and said, "No! Don't look at it. It's-it's classified."
I pointed my sword tip on his exposed neck. "It-It's a drug! Very powerful one."
Maybe this was the specimen our client had asked.
"Open it!"
He opened it with hesitation and there were three small tubes. Red, blue and yellow liquid in them.
I was about to ask for these drugs when Dyson said, "Run! They are here. Forget about it!"
I looked at the box and then at Marco. He had sweat all over his face. Something was saying to me that the drugs were a big deal.
"Don't!" Dyson exclaimed.
"What? I haven't even done anything!"
"I know what your devilish mind is thinking."
"I would not!"

I ran as fast as possible with the documents and… well, with another silver briefcase hanging in my hand.
Hundreds of calculations formed in my mind. What if it's actually worth millions? And maybe, we could tell our client to increase our payment if they wanted the drugs. A grin crawled on my face.
I had accomplished my mission and now I could not wait to reach home.
A rainfall of bullets directed toward me. Crude pursuers of the dead man- Marco, were now behind me, shouting with their guns. I hoped they didn't have another sniper.
My limbs were howling as my feet moved with clumsiness that announced how little time I had left. They were closing in from all angles now. My heart drummed more loudly in my own ears.
I was drinking in the feedback of all my senses. Now, there was noise of my feet that kicked stones and cracked twigs under them. I mentally cursed it for making so much noise. The woods were too dark to see unless they had night vision scope, that it.
It was not long when Dyson's truck came to a halt just before my tracks.
"Wh-why are you he-here?" I asked between my breaths. He shouldn't be here.
"They are still following you. Get up!" He opened the door of the passenger seat and I got up as my feet gave up already.
"Geez, I told you to come right away, now we are in trouble," Dyson said his pale face showed how scared he was.
"And you know it's way too many mosquitoes here, I'll probably have malaria." He added with an irritated tone.
I shrugged my shoulders still heaving for air and told him, "Oh, come on, Dyson! You could be a Mosquito-man someday. Besides, don't your beloved vampires feel bad that you're badmouthing their relatives?" We both giggled on the lame joke and he gave me a playful glare.
"You and your superheroes." He rolled his eyes and started the engine when we saw two vehicles stopping right before our exit.
Shit!
We took the opposite direction and he pushed the accelerator. A few men in black suits fired at us.
Guilty came crashing on me that Dyson got caught up with this mess for helping me. If I hadn't wasted my time with those calculations in my mind, we'd have been saved. I put my weaponry bag aside along with the briefcases and took out my guns.
I didn't have many bullets.
Blugger's hat!
There was no helping with the sick feeling I had inside my stomach. Before I could open the window and shoot them, our truck collided with a trunk and before our mind could register the impact, the ground beneath us gave-away.
The darkness reached out for us, wrapping its hands and pulling us down. It welcomed us, smiling deviously.
We were falling down deep into the abyss.
