Song Recommendation: Demons by Drake ft Fivio Foreign "Man really feel no ways, these man waste; No progression for them think you're bad, just wait"
"I hope everyone had a good night's sleep, but today we're gonna run right through that bitch. The main goal y'all know is Sage." David and his comrades were gathered at the warehouse, discussing the objective for today. Everyone was on board, trying to prepare their weapons and cars just in case. Others were staying behind to keep an eye on Marcus who was still alive and it was only because David needed to make sure he gave the right information. He didn't think Marcus would try him because for all he knew he had leverage with his baby mother and child.

Aubrey pulled out of the warehouse in a bulletproof escalade and signaled for Dave to hop in. "Yo East, let's get this show on the road. We killin' niggas!" He didn't have to tell him twice before he hopped in, gun ready for use. The car ride appeared longer than usual but he knew it was just the anxiety of the situation since the warehouse was not far from Jamaica Estates.

The car ride was silent but it wasn't an awkward silence, everyone was just deep in their own thoughts. In spite of their circumstances, Aubrey had been feeling lighter like a weight has been lifting off of him lately. He wanted to credit Dr. Union but also Ella, he decided he was going to talk to her about his choice to speak to a professional when this situation with Sage was over. On the other hand, David's subconscious was plagued with what ifs about his future with Sage. He was hopeful, scared and he knew with who they are and what he does, life was going to remain extraordinary, but a baby in the mix concerned him. He had to start thinking about how his actions in life affected more than just him, more than just Sage even, but their child. He decided to compute that detail a little bit later. At the forefront of his mind was Sage and the baby's wellbeing at this moment. If she's gone then it would be bad for everyone.

The car came to a halt a block away from the location in an obscure spot. Another car and driver of theirs pulled up behind them while everyone was filing out. Aubrey and David slyly made their way to the address, taking the route to the back of the house this time around. David being in front of Aubrey spotted the guards first. It was a pair of older but fit looking men standing on either side of the sliding doors before David shot them both from the side. The two didn't hear anything before breaking down the glass of the door. Everyone had silencers on to muzzle the sound of any gunfire so it was difficult to decipher any commotion from outside of the house. Once inside, they caught sight of their crew standing over dead bodies that have been working for Jay.

"We gotta scan the rest of the house," Aubrey announced tacitly as he glimpsed around. David nodded in agreement and picked up his cellphone to call Khalif .

     "Yo East!"

"Yo Swae! I need you to look for any security footage 'round the house and when you do, cop it so we can get rid of it." He instructed and after Swae agreed he hung up. Aubrey began to group people up to find Sage in the abode.

"Check everywhere," was Aubrey's last order before him and Dave decided to make their way towards the staircase in the front section of the house. They hoped no one else was around but just their luck, they ran into an alarmed housekeeper which led to Aubrey sticking his gun up and killing her. No witnesses were allowed to live. His heart pinged a little as a massive amount of blood oozed from under her on the ground. They exchanged looks before they began to move on and creep up the stairs.

The house was set up to where there were numerous different cuts and pathways, no clear direction. They were just walking and examining until they detected a special kind of lock on one of the doors in the hallway. Aubrey beckoned for Dave to press his ear against the door so he can witness the loud gagging sounds from the other side of it. The noise alarmed David because he didn't know the amount of people there and exactly what people.

Aubrey shot him a look, "We busting through?"

"Yeah." Aubrey stepped back as Dave pushed all his strength into knocking the door down a few times but only managed to loosen it on the hinges. "We need a key...or some kinda way to get this lock off."

"Whoever's in there is..." Aubrey pressed his ear back on the door to listen more intently, "...crying? Maybe it is Sage."

Dave raised an eyebrow at him, "Maybe, but we can't be too sure."

"How we gettin' in there?" The look on Aubrey's face showed that they were totally stuck without a plan at this point. David's panic started to kick in, placing all these doubts in his mind.

"If we find something to pick the lock then I can do it or else now we're fucked..." David stated.

"Maybe this?" Aubrey shoved his hand in the pocket of jeans and pulled out a small pocket knife attached to a keychain. It was like he was a genie and he granted Dave his wishes.

"Perfect," he got a hold of the item after tucking his piece away to free his hands. It took a few, but he was finally able to unlock the door and twist it open.

Once inside they didn't see anyone, but it was obvious still that someone was living here or at least had. The bed was unmade, there were articles of clothing piled on a chair and dishes upon a bamboo nightstand. David realized there was a sliding closet door and then another door right by it. Stepping closer he heard the sobbing noises again from before and when he opened it a wave of emotions came rushing to him. It was Sage hiding in the corner of the bathroom with her knees to her chest and head down. Dave put all the weapons he was holding on the marble counter and raced to her side on the floor.

"Baby, it's me you're fine," He wrapped her in his arms and just like old times she fit into them perfectly.

"I'm gonna put everyone on," Aubrey said and gave them their privacy, backing out the doorway.

Dave nodded while kissing her face, unable to focus on anything but her. "It's okay I'm here now," he whispered into her hair while she just continued to weep in his arms.

     Endnote: Well shit.
