He passed Tanya a key.
"What's this?"
"Well, Matty and I decided that in your new position, you will need more privacy, so we are letting you stay in the cottage, for as long as you want. If you want it."
Tanya took the key and hugged Bill tightly.
"Oh my God. I don't know what to say."
Bill kissed Tanya's forehead.
"You just said it all."
He kissed her again.
"Now why don't you go and get settled in your new home. We will talk more tomorrow. There are a couple more things we have to get settled for you."
Tanya hugged Matty and left.
"And jest wheres is youse supposed to be livin', young lady."
Matty rolled her eyes and walked to her grandmother.
"I will be staying here, with my fiancé."
Nanny Dove put her hand to her chest.
"Youse gonna be da death of me, girl."
"Youse already bes dead, old lady," Matty laughed.
"Youse gonna be livin' in da sin."
Nanny Dove clasped her hands.
"Dear Lord ..."
"Give it a rest, old lady. When was the last time you prayed for anything?"
"Well, Ise be prayin' fer yer souls now, Matty and Bill."
"Love you Nanny. Now go away. We want to get unpacked and christen every room in the house."
Nanny Dove grasped her chest and slowly disappeared.
"Youse be killin' me. Killin' meeeeeeeee."
"Fucking drama queen," Matty laughed.
Bill took Matty in his arms.
"Well I do like the idea of christening every room."
"Gonna have to wait stud. At least for the next week or so."
"Why?"
Matty pointed to her midsection.
"It be that time of the month."
"Oh," Bill gasped as he let Matty go.
"I'm not diseased, you asshole," Matty laughed, as she kissed Bill.
"Besides, there are other things we can do."
