*** Wahoo a newwwww chapter lovelies :D I know its been a while DX it was supposed to be updated yesterday but NOOO my laptop didnt save it so i had to re-write this chapter except for like 1 paragraph -_-* so need a new laptop... Anyways xD In this chap you learn some more about Jake and get to see his softer side :D INJOY <3***

 ***Chapter 22***

“JAKE! What in the world are you doing here?” I said screaming and hitting him really hard in his chest. Causing him to take a few steps back from me looking shocked.

“Ow. There’s no need to hit me.” He says rubbing his chest and laughing. “I decided to follow you. Oh but don’t worry the guys know I’m with you. I added onto your note that you left. So it’s all good to go” He said with an ear to ear grin. Well more like a victory smirk.

“Did you not read the note?! I fully said NOT to follow me. So what do you do? You follow me. You are such an idiot!” I said flaring my arms while in a rage filled yell. I’m just so furious! This is the number one thing I didn’t want. Now I have to worry about him getting hurt. Since I can’t send him back, because who knows if the others have left yet or what.

“Sooo… how about you stop your pacing, and talking to yourself about how I may get hurt, and let’s leave. We’re burning daylight here.” Wait… So did he just hear what I just said? I thought I was

doing that in my head… Well isn’t that embarrassing. “Yah it kind of is embarrassing.” He said with a smirk and a wink… Okay I know I said that in my head… Or did I… I don’t know I’m so confused! But he was right. We should start off to getting to Damen before it’s too late. I hope the others just go back home and don’t follow us. It’s bad enough that I have to deal with Jake being here. I didn’t want to have to worry about anyone getting hurt.

So we headed on down the road. Arm in arm. Not my idea may I say. I think he was just happy that he won against me. And to make it worse he made us skip… And sing “Where off to see The Wizard” …. I swear this guy is supposed to be the sad mopey kid that I met not too long ago. Sure this Jake is awesome… just not when I’m in a foul mood, caused by him none the less.

This kid makes my day. I think I’m starting to enjoy him following along with me. He sure is a character full of laughs. I’m glad he’s finally deciding to show his true colours to me.  We are getting closer to Damen… I can feel it. We’ve turned I think at least four or five times by now and have been walking for at least an hour and a half, if not more. So we found some trees overhanging a fence that gave some shade and we sat there and caught our breath and talked a bit.

“Hey Bella…” Jake said while looking down at his hands as he fiddled his fingers nervously.

“Yah Jake. Is something on your mind?” I wonder what could be bothering him. Because it’s obviously not nothing that’s for sure.

“I’ve been feeling and thinking something weird lately… And I don’t know what to make of it. I don’t know anyone who has experienced it before.” He said moving in his seat on the ground. Wait why is he telling me? Wouldn’t he tell Raven about this? He barely knows me… I guess he trust me. It’s sort of like me and Damen I guess. I feel as if I could tell Damen anything… Wait… does Jake, like me?

“Jake you can tell or ask me anything! I would never tell anyone unless you gave me permission to do so. Even then I don’t have anyone I would tell. But I promise I won’t tell, say or judge about what you have to say and tell me.” I said reaching for him as he stood up to walk a few steps away. As if so I wouldn’t e able to see his face when he tells me what he has to say.
