Dream was sitting on the couch in Cross and his living room. He was reading a book, Cross was in a chair near the couch, pretending to be checking over one of his knives.
But he was actually looking over it as he turned it over repeated and acted like he was looking for scratches and dents.
After a while, he started to blush from staring at the small guardian for so long and thinking about him.
Dream didn't even look up, he smiled and said, "You're staring."
Cross's face turned dark purple, "W-what are ya talking about?"
Dream giggled and walked over. "Cross. You literally started blushing and radiating positive emotions. You're actually drooling a bit." Dream's face became a bit gold.
Cross blushed harder and muttered, "Its not my fault you're so cute."
Dream kissed him and then said, "How about you actually check over your knife now, before you get any ideas."
