Orochimaru's Creation (KakashiXReader)

Kaito walked out and stood by Orochimaru. This wasn't good; I would need to distract them so Kakashi could get him and the other three to safety.

"A lot has changed in the short time you've been gone Hitomi. So. Don't think this will be an easy fight."

I clenched my teeth; there was no need to whisper anything to anyone. So I yelled back to Kakashi, "I'll distract them; while you four get to safety. I won't forget my promise. So run as soon as the chance shows itself."

I turned my full attention back to the two in front of me, "You can take me back when I'm dead," I spat my words at them with as much venom as possible.

Orochimaru smirked at me and Kaito quickly revealed his Kagune; both of his eyes turning black and red.

I gasped, "What did you do to him?"

"I told you. A lot has changed. I successfully changed him into a complete ghoul. I'll do the same for you when we're back home Hitomi."

I'd fight until the very end before I let him take anything else from me. I pulled out my Kagune, "You'll have to be alive to commit such atrocities."

Kaito shot forward and I was quick enough to notice and yell for the four behind me to get back. They shot to the trees and I knew they were waiting for the best time to escape.

Kaito charged at me again; and instead of dodging, I charged back. We met with clashing fist; both of us landing and equal amount of hits.

When we jumped back; we were both already covered in blood and skin readying to bruise. My ghoul eye was bloody from one of his hits; so I instinctively kept it closed.

I could sense the four watching slowly disperse one by one.

With Orochimaru and Kaito focused on me; I knew I'd have to figure out how to get around them. Hopefully I could do that before Kakashi tried to help me.

His kagune flew towards me and I countered it quickly with my own. I quickly threw my own body forward; landing a nice blow to his face.

He didn't even flinch though; what did he do to you Kaito?

I let myself think a second too long; Kaito connected his foot with my chest and sent me flying.
I broke through three trees before I hit the fourth fiercly; cracking it in the process.

I struggled to catch my breath and he was immediately on me again.

Before he could grab me; I kicked upwards from where I was on the ground; connecting with his chin and sending him back into the path.

By this time; I felt Kakashi's chakra moving away slowly. I decided this brief distraction was my chance. I quickly started after them.
Being so close to Kohona; I figured I'd make it before they could catch up to me.

But then I felt it; Kaito's kagune sliced into my arm and pulled me from the tree branch I had landed on. I fell to the ground hard. The contact knocking the air out of my lungs again.

I couldn't stop. The gate was in sight. I could see Kakashi making his way in behind Naruto.

You made a promise. Keep going.

I quickly jumped to my feet and as I started to run; I felt his kagune slash against my back like a whip.

I wanted to scream as I fell to my knees; but I didn't want Kakashi to come running back. So I bit my tongue and tried to get to my feet again.

Another slash.

I tasted the blood from my tongue as I bit down again.

Another slash.

This time I couldn't subside the scream. I needed to go. My new family was waiting for me.

They last thought lit a fire in me that I didn't know I had. I shot to my feet and ran as fast as I could.

Kaito managed to slash my leg this time; but my adrenaline was high.

I kept running. Until finally; I flew through the gate. I turned around to watch the gate close; while Kaito and Orochimaru just gave me an evil smile from the trees.

They were done; for now.

I quickly turned around and walked towards the four waiting nearby. I almost made it; but being out of immediate danger made my adrenaline die down drastically.

I fell to my knees and grabbed my arm; where blood was pouring out of me profusely.
Before I could fall completely; I was caught by my favorite two arms.

I winced as he didn't know my back was slashed up.

I could see the black spots slowly dancing in my vision.

I choked out, "Guess we'll have to rain check that date huh?"

Kakashi shaking his head and giving me a worried look was the last thing I saw before the spots took over completely.
