Chapter 30- Kinabra

PREVIOUSLY:
The fight between Erza and Jellal went on for hours but it ended when Jellal casted the True Heavenky body magic spell; Sema. Both him and Erza was injured from the explosion caused by the spell but he was conscious and they are now inside the den Jellal made for them.

"MIRA! LOOK!" Kinana exclaimed, pointing towards the ground where Laxus and Cobra were jumping on trees

"Don't worry, we'll be fine" Mira answered with a demonic voice, still flying in the air

"But they'll follow us" Kinana said worriedly, "I know, I'm trying to do a diversion" Mira said, looking forward

Laxus frowned, "We can hear you, you know?" He asked the two ladies, "we didn't know that" Kinana chuckled nervously

"And how could you forget I could also read minds" Cobra questioned, "we also forgot that" Mira said with a poker face

"How can she be so different?" Cobra asked, remembering Mira's innocent smile compared to her now in her Satan soul

"I can hear you~" Mira sang in an eerie voice making Cobra shudder, Laxus shook his head when he looked up to see Mira smirking as she scared Cobra

"Why did you scare him?" Kinana asked Mira, "I love scaring people in this form, I haven't done that I years" Mira remembered memories of how she scared people when she went on jobs

"That's why people nobody dared to come near her for years" Laxus chuckled, remembering at how he watched Mira try to say hello to a little girl but she ran off

"Shut it Laxus!" Mira gave him a scary look, "MIRA!!!!" Kinana screamed, pointing towards a bird infront of her

Mira dodged it but it continued to follow them both, she flew higher and higher and higher, making the bird follow them

The bird kept on following them into the sky when it lost consciousness and fell from the sky and into a tree

"Yes!!!!" Mira exclaimed in her Satan form, pumping her fist in the air and while doing so, she dropped Kinana

"MIRA!!!!" Kinana called, Mira flew towards her at full speed but Kinana was caught by Cobra who jumped in the air and carried her

Kinana whose eyes were closed shut, opened them since she didn't feel herself falling anymore

Cobra gave her a smirk and he ran away with Kinana in his hands, "NO!" Mira said angrily

She was about to attack Cobra but Laxus threw an attack on Mira before she could, catching her off guard

Cobra continued running with Kinana in his arms, she stayed quiet, not knowing what to do or say

It didn't take long before dark clouds emerged and it started to rain heavily, "Juvia" Kinana whispered as the rain touched her skin

"That's your guild mate, ain't it?" Cobra questioned, her cheeks turned pink when  he suddenly talked

"Y-yeah...." she stuttered, looking forward and not at his face, why am I scared? he gave a small chuckle

"Scared?" He asked, hearing her thoughts, right, I forgot he could hear my thoughts Kinana thought groggily

"Don't turn out like Natsu" Cobra teased, and he thinks I'm like Natsu now, great! She frowned

"I was joking, take it lightly" he laughed, still carrying her, "alright, but....where are we going?" Kinana asked, "to the den I made for us" He answered truthfully

A den? She asked herself, "it's the place where we take you when we "kidnap" you" he rolled his eyes, she chuckled

It's been an hour and while passing onto the trees, they both witnessed how Lucy was taken

Kagura was taken, Meredy was taken, Levy was taken, Yukino was taken, Even Erza was taken!

They passed by Juvia and Gray's den and needless to say, they both were stunned by what they heard

Cobra hearing thoughts was a huge disadvantage, since he heard and SAW Juvia and Gray's thoughts

It was so embarrassing that they didn't talk to each other for an hour and remained silent, when,

"How much longer is it going to take to get there?" Kinana asked, staring at his face, he looked down at hers

"A few more hours" he smiled and looked forward again, hours!? He must be kidding! Right? Kinana furrowed her brows

"I'm not lying, we'll be there in a few hours, why? Are you tired?" He asked her, "a little" she answered

"You can rest" he told her, she looked at him "a-are you sure?" He nodded, reassuring her, she gave a sigh

She pressed her head on his chest and her hands and closed her eyes, falling into a deep slumber

"It must've been tiring for her, she's  been on the run for days without sleep and the little amount of food they received" Cobra said out loud, staring at her face

Her small snores filled the air when the ice rains started to fall again, Cobra started to run, avoiding each of them and protecting his girlfriend

He panted when he found a cave to stay in for the night since it was still a long way before they will go to the den he made for them

He laid her on the ground and sat besides her, placing her head on his lap, she grumbled

Frowning from the uncomfortable smell and place, her eyes opened to see Cobra, "Erik?" She questioned, sitting up

"We'll stay here for the night" he answered, Kinana nodded and walked the opposite side of where he is sitting

She curled up in a ball and started to fall asleep again making Cobra chuckle from her cuteness

He stared at her sleeping so peacefully and remembered how he and Cubellious used to stay around in caves with the Oracion Seis when they used to destroy villages

"I wonder if Midnight and Sorano got together by the end of the day" He thought, laughing at the thought of his two friends being together

"But I also wonder if she'll let me mark her" he said, still looking at her, "I will" she answered, surprising him

"I thought you were sleeping" he told her, she chuckled and smiled, "you should know by now that I could never sleep in caves like this" she told him

Cobra laughed and he moved next to her, she rested her head on his shoulder as they both stared at the empty cave wall before them

"I love you" she said unexpectedly, "I love you too" Cobra answered, they stared at each other's eyes and gave a peck on their lips

"Please don't leave me again" he told her, intertwining their hands together, "I'll never leave you, I promise" she answered

They turned around and cuddled, watching the starry night sky together as the moon shone from above
