Chapter 41 – Unbelievable

[Trixie’s P.O.V]

“I am very stupid” I heard Naomi’s voice cracking. Is she been crying all day? And what’s with the loud noise?

“Hey hey, you just woke me up in the middle of my sleep just to tell me you are very stupid? Because of what?” I asked her and I heard her sob. Seriously? Tumawag siya saakin at exactly 3:47 in the freaking morning and I found myself drowning in my saliva. Tsk.

“Bakit ganun Trixie masakit e. I’m sorry I called late. Hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko Trixie. Help me” I sighed and composed myself for a long talk.

“Alam mo kasi may mga bagay na hindi natin inaakalang mang-yayari. May mga taong hindi natin inaasahan. May mga bagay din namang hindi natin gustong ma-witness. But the question is…Ano nga ba ang problema?” I asked her at bigla akong nakarinig ng kalampag at biglang humagulgol sa iyak si Naomi. What did I just say?!

“Hey, Hey, Hey! Kung ano man yan let it out” Sabi ko and then I heard her stopped sobbing and then she sighed.

“DJ just proposed a wedding to Aria. I saw the whole thing. I even saw them kissed! Sa loob nang-yari lahat ng yun! Maraming naka-kita! Marami! Sa Youtube nga baka meron na yun! Ang tanga ko talaga! Ang tanga tanga ko kasi. I knew in the first time I met Aria that she is the freaking girlfriend of DJ. Pero heto ako ngayon drowning myself inside the bar.” I almost fell on my bed. Totoo?! Ganun na siya ka-obsessed? And who’s Aria?!

“You’re inside a bar. And wait…Aria?! Who the fuck is Aria? At paano kayo naging close?” Tanong ko

“That’s the thing! Sobrang bait niya kaya hindi ko magawang mainis sa kanya. DJ’s perfectly happy with her at ngayon? She is now DJ’s fiancée. Tsk. Ang cliché no? Graaabbbeeeeee! I caaan’t believe everything I’m doing right nooow!” Oh my freaking gosh. She’s drunk!

“—Hey Drake! Drink some tequila… Naomi, stop this. You should rest…NOOOO! Can’t you see? I’m drinking and chatting with my Bff!—Hey Trixie! I gotta go now! I’m having fun with the music!...David! I mean Drake! Dance with me babe! Woohhh!”

Call ended.

What the heck was that?! Drake? As in Drake Williams? Oh my gosh! Naomi won’t make me sleep!

I dialed her phone once again but damn! It’s out of reach. I feel really sorry for her but then I missed something she said…

*Blag blag blag*

“OH MY GOSH!” I almost fainted at muntik ko pang mai-hagis sa kung saan yung phone ko. But then it fell on my bed (-____-) Napalingon ako sa bintana ng room ko and saw Spadex standing there like a monkey.

“Hey open this window. You look wasted!” I heard Spadex. Hindi nga ako nag-hahallucinate andito siya.

“What are you doing here Spadex? 4:00 na ng umaga!” Sabi ko and he shrugged.  I opened the window and he went inside without even asking (=_=)

“I can’t sleep” Sabi niya at napa-nga nga ako sakanya

“Andito ka dahil hindi ka maka-tulog? WHYYYY?”

“Tsk. Fine oo na andito ako kasi gusto kong makipag usap sayo. And By the way. Naka-usap mo na ba si Naomi? She called me a while ago and she said she hated her life and then poof! Ended her call. What’s happening to her” Sabi ni Sapdex at napa-iling ako

“Actually I just have a conversation with her too a while ago. She’s drunk. She’s with Drake. She witnessed Dj’s wedding proposal for Aria at the Mall.” Sabi ko and I sat at my bed with my arms crossed in front of my chest

“Wait. Wait. Wait. You’re telling me She’s drunk and she’s with her freaking EX- BOYFRIEND?! AND WHO’S ARIA!?” Jeez ang warfreak din nito e.

“Hoy! Babaan mo nga ‘yang boses mo! Magigising mo sila mommy” Sabi ko and He sat at the floor in front of me.

“We have the same question. Aria is DJ’s new girlfriend. In his second life to be exact.” Sabi ko

“Tsk. Kung wala lang dahilan e baka napatay ko na si DJ dahil sinasaktan niya ang pinaka mamahal kong pinsan” Shit. Did he just spoke straight tagalog? Why does he have to be cute in speaking in tagalog?---Jeez! Trixie! Cut it out!

“Woah. Straight tagalog” Sabi ko at napa-kunot ang noo niya

“Ang cute kaya” I said at napa-takip ako sa bunganga ko at halos gusto ko nang lamunin na ako ng lupa. Kumunot ng sobra ang noo niya to the extent na binanat niya na ito at ginulo niya yung buhok niya. He started laughing! GOD! SO EMBARRASSING.

“Seriously?! I’m angry! I can’t believe you just made my anger flew the time you just said that!” He laughed. *Tug!* Teka bakit parang may nabuhay? *Tug tug!* May Kumakatok sa may chest ko.

I watched Spadex laughed hard. Grabe tawa much ‘tong unggoy na ‘to. May hawak-tiyan effect pa siyang nalalaman.  Palakas naman ng palakas ang tawa niya kaya agad kong kinuha yung unan ko na malambot at isinalaksak ko sa bunganga niya at kita naman sa mukha niya ang pagka-gulat at inalis niya yung unan at niyakap niya ito at ngumiti ng Nakaka-loko.

“You’re funny” AKO? FUNNY? ANONG GINAGAWA KO?! (-_-) Nakaka-insulto ‘tong imported unggoy na ‘to.

“Ano tingin mo sa akin? Clown? Hoy Imported na Unggoy wag mo akong tawanan palayasin kita e” Sabi ko at ngumiti naman siya

“Imported na Unggoy. What if I call you Funny Clown?” Tanong niya at pinag-hahahampas ko siya ng unan ko. Ibinato ko sakanya yung mga stufftoys na nasa kama ko.

“Stop stop stop” Sabi nya habang natatawa. Seriously?! Funny Clown?

“It’s cute! You’re cute! From now on I’ll call you Funny clown”

“And I’ll call you Imported Monkey” Sabi ko at nag-katitigan kami. Silence crawled.

“Awkward” Sabay naming sabi and we laughed. Wait did I even heard it right? He just called me cute?

Nag-katitigan kami at biglang naging seryoso ang mukha niya at nilapitan niya ako.

“What are you—“ I can’t move every part of my body. My eyes widened.

Did he just k-kissed me? Spadex just kissed me?! Great! How can I move on again? I’m not done with Nathan yet! Great! Just Great. I want to kick my guts and hide under the bed forever!
