Season 4 Episode 16: Bring It On

"Why are we looking for the wolf bitch again?" Lilith asked, exasperated, as she rolled her head towards a grinning Klaus. They were currently searching for Hayley because she was the only lead to Katherine at the moment. Lilith was annoyed, they've been searching for two bloody hours with no success.

"Because she'll lead us to Katherine, love." Klaus sounded like a robot as he spoke because this was probably the third time Lilith has asked that same exact question. "Don't you want to find her?" Klaus raised an eyebrow.

"Of course I do, I still need to make her suffer for what she did to me." Lilith growled and absentmindedly rubbed her stomach. A memory from over five hundred years ago filled her head and she growled louder. Klaus wrapped an arm around Lilith's shoulders and kissed the top of her head. He hated the memories too.

"Then we need Hayley." Klaus paused, eyebrows coming together. The couple suddenly heard the sound of a body being thrown against something metal. "There she is!" Klaus grinned as he sped towards the sound. Lilith quickly followed and saw a vampire smiling over a downed Hayley.

Lilith whistled and the vampire looked up just in time for Klaus to grab him. "Have a care, mate. That's no way to treat a lady." Klaus smiled, fangs extended with his eyes glowing gold, before biting into the vampire's neck.

Lilith held out a hand to the downed wolf and smiled tightly, might as well be civil. Hayley took it and Lilith lifted her off the ground. "You came." Hayley's voice was hoarse but Lilith could see the faint bruises on her neck from the vampire so she didn't question it.

"You did say it was urgent." Lilith stepped back into Klaus as the bitten vampire rushed away.

"Oh, don't worry about him, love. He'll never make it through tomorrow night." Klaus said when he saw Hayley glance at the retreating back of the vampire.

"What if there are more?" Hayley crossed her arms and hid her scared expression.

"You were foolish enough to make a deal with Katerina Petrova. She used you to find the cure and now you're nothing but a loose end. You'll be lucky if she lets you live." Lilith smiled at the glare Hayley gave her at her words.

"You said you would protect me." Hayley shoved passed the couple. They shared a look.

"And we will. Just as soon as you tell me everything you know about Katerina." Klaus and Lilith faced the female werewolf. Hayley nodded and together the trio left.

They returned to the Mikaelson mansion, Hayley going to clean up, Klaus to speak to an annoying Damon Salvatore, while Lilith sat on the couch with her phone clasped in red nails. Lilith took a breathe and dialed a familiar number. Like usual the phone ring for only a moment before it was answered.

"Lilith? I haven't heard from you in a while." Charlotte's slightly accented voice filled Lilith's ears and the brunette smiled. She'd never stay it aloud but she desperately missed her witch.

"I have not had a need for your skills besides I know your son is a handful." Lilith smiled as she thought of Charlotte's two year old. She's met her family once when she first met Charlotte so it's been a few years.
