20. What a Dark Turn of Events.

Season 3 Episode 13: Bring Out The Dead

"You look surprised to see me. So it wasn't you that removed the dagger from my chest?" Elijah said as he was wiping the blood off his hands using a white handkerchief. Lilith tilted her head and leaned into the wall, fangs hidden within her mouth, ready to be used if something went wrong.

"You look like you could do with a drink. And we have a lot to discuss, so shall we?" Klaus says with a smile and Elijah snaps. Elijah attacks him, causing Klaus to fly through a window. Lilith hopped to her feet and followed after the two brothers. "Easy. I just finished renovating." Klaus rushes at Elijah and Elijah crashes into a table, breaking it.

"You know you have every right to be mad at me. But I kept my word, I reunited you with our family." Elijah attacks him again, and Klaus is knocked against a coffin. He opens the one next to it, undaggers Kol who is lying inside, rushes to Elijah and holds him against a closed coffin by his throat. He holds the dagger up threateningly. Lilith tilts her head, looking at Kol's undaggered body.

"Don't make me do this to you again Elijah!" Klaus threatens.

"Come on. Use it. I dare you. You'll have Kol to deal with." Elijah said with a smile and Klaus lowered the dagger.

"Mikael is dead." Klaus releases his grip and Elijah stands up, surprised.

"What did you say?" Elijah asks, still completely surprised. Lilith rolled her eyes and stepped between the two brothers. They both looked at her with narrowed eyes.

"If you two are done breaking the mansion, how about we sit down and talk like people, yeah?" Lilith asks with a sweet smile, one that said "do as I said or you'll be in a world of pain" and the boys knew better than to not listen to Lilith's words. They nodded and Lilith grinned.

"I killed him. With his own weapon. He's gone Elijah. Forever." Klaus says, somewhat quietly. Lilith nods and kissed Klaus' cheek.

"Why do our family remain in these coffins? Finn for over 900 years, Kol for over a century." Elijah asks with a strongly hidden desperation to see his family. Lilith hears it and  sends the Original and smile. Elijah returns it, knowing why she smiled.

"Because of Stefan Salvatore. He holds the one thing keeping me from freeing them. There are things that you do not know about our past, Elijah. Our mother's death. Things I never wanted you to know but I'm ready to tell you now. I only ask that you remember the oath of loyalty you once swore to me." Klaus says as he walks to a small table where there is a small urn and removes the lid. He dips the dagger inside then walks over to Kol's coffin.

"What are you doing?" Elijah asks as Klaus redaggers Kol.

"Always and forever. I need you to stand by my side. Be my brother. Help me destroy Stefan and I promise you our family will be whole again." Klaus closes Kol's coffin.

A few hours later Klaus and Elijah were waiting for the Salvatore brothers to arrive. Lilith was in the dining room, waiting for their guests to arrive. The doorbell rung and Elijah opened it. "Niklaus, our guests have arrived." Elijah says to Klaus, who rolls his eyes.

"Damon. Stefan. Elijah tells me, you seek an audience. Very bold. Let's discuss the terms of our agreement like civilized men, shall we?" They are standing in the dining room. The table is set and there's food on it. Two female servants are standing in the room. Lilith was standing behind Klaus' chair, looking absolutely stunning.
