Sumire gripping the book cover closer.
" One of their own killed off the clan?" Sumire talking to herself.
"Wait.. if the clan doesn't exist then that means..." Kaiya murmuring.
"Sarada and her dad are the only living members. But the culprit what was his name? Ah! Itachi Uchiha was alive for about several years later before finally being assassinated for the crime." Sumire finishing Kaiya's sentence.
"How awful for Sasuke-san..." Kaiya thought.
"W-what about their power? The Sharnigan?" Kaiya felt and knew her curosity was eating away at her. Kaiya didn't care rather what she was going to see would be good or bad.
"The Sharnigan is the clan's well known visual justu that can only be inherited through the clan itself. Why there might be many stages to it, the Sharnigan is proven deadly in battle as it can only be progress through deep, intense emotion or some like trauma."
Sumire easing the book down flat onto the wooden surface, exposing a few pictures that seem very familar to Kaiya. The pictures deplicting each stage of the Sharnigan. At that moment Kaiya knew that what she saw yesterday was no longer a misunderstanding. It was real.
"..So it was this.. This doesn't make any sense." Kaiya almost wanting to tear the hair out of her scalp.
"Nani? What are you talking about?" Sumire oddly starring at a fluster Kaiya.
"Sumire.. For a while now I've been having pain within my eyes, each time I would endure intense pain, Until yesterday I didn't feel no more of it. Just the ablitiy to see everything in slow motion." Kaiya reaching for her face as she told of the incident.
"I'm starting to worry now. Are you sure you might need glasses?" Sumire suggesting.
"No silly! I'm serious! I didn't think much of it either until yesterday when I finally saw myself through the blade of my katana. My eyes.." Kaiya's eyes locking back onto the picture, overwhelm and maybe a bit afraid of not knowing what to think.
Sumire got the hint and she too took a breather in order to help fix this mysterious dilemma.
"Kaiya I know you.. I know when you are serious and when you just don't care. If you posses the Sharnigan then that mean one or two things.." Sumire gently again closing the old age book. " The book said that only Sasuke Uchiha and the culprit Itachi Uchiha were the only two left of the clan. Right?"
Kaiya listened. "yeahh.."
"'We can't avoid the fact that you do have the Uchiha blood within you.. and that's only possible if you are the daughter of either Sasuke or Itachi." Sumire said. Scooting her chair closer to Kaiya. "Which is it easier for you to believe?"
The air suddenly felt more stuffier to breath in for Kaiya, and now she started to regret ever coming here to fine out more. Doing so just made things worst. Her life at times felt incomplete because of not knowing who her actual parents were. But now Kaiya's reality feels more broken than ever.
"I don't.. I don't know Sumire.." Kaiya holding the sorrow back but her eyes like always gave away to how she really feels. As tears started to form. " I never knew how my mother nor father look or who they were growing up. I use to think they would show up one day when I was still a kid. My Aunt and Uncle did their absolute best to try and fill in their place. It made things a little bit better ya know?" Sumire putting her arm over her friends shoulders, holding her close with a warm hug. " But now.. Even after seeing a picture of my mom and now this of my father, I'm left with more questions than answers! If I'm the daughter of Itachi Uchiha than that means my father killed his whole clan in vain! I would be the daughter of a murderer. That would explain my mothers disappearance, maybe she went into hiding fearing for her life. It would too explain why Uncle Naruto never spoken of my father.. maybe he didn't want me to know of him, for this reason." Kaiya stomach twisting in every direction. Almost if she could puke.
