My Reflection Doesn't Lie

That suffix or name, whatever, hasn't been said for years and its only ever been said by her. Hearing it from someone else didn't make it feel the same. 

"Come on Sasuke! It will be fun!" Sakura catching his hand into hers as she held on tight. 

"Sure. Family time does sound great." Sasuke seeing a open opportunity. 

"Great! I get off work at six this evening. Just so happens that the villages annual festival is tonight! How does that sound Sasuke-ku-" Sakura rushing her words, nearly tripping over her tongue as Sasuke quickly interrupted.  

"As long as we spend time as a family I won't dare to miss anytime with the girls. I want Kaiya to come along as well. She too is my family. I won't miss spending time with her." Sasuke walking ahead towards the front sliding door. Sakura not liking too much of the idea bringing along an extra person. Especially if its the crimsons daughter. But Sakura bit her tongue and nodded. 

"Of course Sasuke.."

Later that afternoon Kaiya made her way to the Leaf's library and had been surprised to see her dear friend Sumire at the entrance. Still dress up in her fancy lab coat and her nose in the books. The textbook look bigger than Sumire's face!

"Sumire!!" Kaiya shouting with excitement.

"Ah! Kaiya! What brings you here?! You hate books!" Sumire teasing. 

"If books weren't long and small worded than maybe I would somewhat take interest." Kaiya said with a smile and her hand on the right hip. 

"Aaha! Oh Kaiya your hopeless. Now! What can I do for yah? Anything?" Sumire gently placing the thousand page novel in a book bag. 

"I figure you know your way in the library, I need all the books that are related to the Uchiha clan. Can you help?" Kaiya's voice sounding quiet in order to keep from prying ears. 

"Sure thing. Lets look together I'm sure whatever you are looking for we will fine in there." Sumire confidently said. 

After a good fifteen minutes the girls manage to fine a couple of old books relating to the Uchiha's. Well mostly Sumire did while Kaiya slouch in one of libraries comfy chairs. 

"Here we go.. lets see what would you like to know?" Sumire taking a seat next to her friend. Flipping her thin lavender braids to one side. Almost smacking her girlfriend in the face. 

"Really?! You actually found something!!" Kaiya not used to using a indoor voice got seriously hush by the main lady who ran the building. Mean and old looking hag. "Gomen.." 

Sumire slightly chuckled. 

"Yes. Where would you like me to start?" Sumire opening to the first page. 

Kaiya taking a sec to think...

"wow um.. How about a short bio of the clan?" Kaiya wanting to ease her way through. 

Sumire lick her fingers and trolled through the pages faster than any typer on a computer.

"Alright. Its says... The Uchiha clan was among many who shared an alliance with the Hidden Leaf village, they were respected by many. Before the devastating massacre the clan did have a leader whose name was Fugaku Uchiha."  Sumire swallowed before continuing for she had a weak stomach for things like that. " Sadly no other individual survived the sorrow event but only the headmasters younger son.. and the culprit himself." 

Kaiya waiting anixously for the rest. Getting a bit impatient. 

"What! what else is there Sumire? Don't leave me hanging."
