CHAPTER 2

Y/n's Pov

I looked around me and "Damn this is old.'' I mumbled loud enough for me to hear.

I got up from where I sat and started looking around.

Yep this is ancient, all the things were worn out especially the walls, they looked very dull and the wallpaper is falling off  just like in one of those horror movies we see on TV.

'Was this place always here??' I thought.

There are a lot of old books and webs and some broken furnitures.

Ugh this place is creepy. What if a murderer lives here? what if this is his hide out!? I think I'm gonna wee my pants.

The roof seems like it could fall off any moment now and the corners of the walls were covered with spider webs and...

*Thumm!* "What was that? I jumped a little as I saw a rat crawling from one side of the room to the other.

My heart was beating faster and faster as the minutes past. It feels like it's gonna jump off my chest any second now.

I know I'm not suppose to be afraid of these type of things or an unexpected ghost whose living here anymore since I've been seeing them all my life and I should've been already used to it right?

Well technically, I haven't. I'm still terrified of them every time I see them and its different from those who only assume and for someone like me who can actually see it.

But if a murderer really does live here? Worst than being chased by those perverts.

I looked outside from a broken window and saw that those boys were still outside searching for me. Sigh. Still I'd rather not...

"I think I should call my mom." I mumbled.

I took out my phone to call her but...THERE WAS NO SIGNAL! This day can't just get any better. Ugh.

I heard footsteps and something was moving from somewhere......'shit.'

I gathered all my courage and walk towards a room which looks like a family room to me and here I sense something...something strange.

"H-hello?" I said as the empty hall was filled with echo of my voice.

"I k-know you're there. Come o-out." I said as I pretend to be tough but you can still hear my shaky voice and inside I'm freaking out!

BAMM! I am literally gonna die of shock right now. I felt something behind me, is it a person or a ghost? Weirdly, I usually know if it's a ghost instantly but why am I having a little bit of a problem here?

'Keep calm Y/n and don't die' I turn back slowly only to be witness by..

..Someone.

I couldn't see it properly cause the room was dark and the only light that was visible was from the moon outside which was falling faintly through the cracked windows.

I looked at the ghost carefully this time, fighting my own fears and this time I saw it....or maybe a him.

He didn't look that harmful though so I took one step forward towards him which backs him off quickly. I stopped and looked at him...scared? Seems like the one who's scared here isn't me but the figure in front of me.

"H-hey!" I said which startled him and stumbled as he hit the table next to him.

Isn't he suppose to go through that table? I mean he can actually touch it so does that mean he's human too?

Well if he is, why is he in here? Questions were running through my mind one after the other. I shrugged them off and said.

"Hey its okay. I'm not gonna hurt you"

"I promise."

He hesitated but then slowly came towards the light that was shining from the window and boy was I so wrong to judge so quickly.

"Y-you're not human....are you??"
