CHAPTER 44

IU's Pov

It's been a week since Y/n started training with Yoongi.

I'm currently standing outside the room Taehyung has been placed and...Tae...his spirit and his body is growing weaker and weaker.

"Boss." I turned back and saw Namjoon.

"What is it?"

"We have some problems with some souls." Sigh, this is really tiring. I've been doing this job for.....a long time now probably for three centuries or so and obviously....I'm tired. But I still can't find any other Reaper who I can give my seat too.

But maybe Namjoon can....

"Boss." I didn't realise it but I dazed out a bit.

"Yes, I'm coming. You can go ahead."

"Okay." I turned back to Taehyung and heard the door close.

"Taehyung," I called out. "y/n is gonna help you. Just.....wait a little bit longer."

He looked at me with blank eyes. Emotionless.

But what shocked me was even with his blank emotionless face......a tear fell from his eyes.

As if saying or begging, 'Please, hurry.'

His body and his spirit his hurting. If we're late.....his revengeful, angry side is gonna appear. And that's not good, at all.

Y/n's Pov

I think I'm kinda....ready. I've been training non stop everyday. I need to help Tae as soon as possible.

Please wait a little bit more Tae. I'm coming.

I've learnt a lot of things from Yoongi. He even taught me to chant a spell to ward off evils. It was kinda hard to say it at first but after lots of practicing I can say it without any problems.

"Y/n." I heard Yoongi calling me.

"Yes?" A few days before Yoongi started calling me by my name. I was surprised to be honest but it made me feel good. He even flustered after when he said my name.

"We need to go to IU's castle. She wants us there ASAP."

"Why? Did something happened to Tae? Did he go berserk again!?"

"Fortunately no." Oh thank goo-

"Yet." Seriously!?

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Tae...please...please be okay.

Hobi's Pov

I just came back from the cafe and bought myself some coffee.

It's already been a week and I'm still keeping an eye on Tae.

The others are also busy with their work and they've found some evidence for the case but not enough.

Now we're just hoping that at least JK find something.

Sigh. I'm not getting paid enough for this. As if I'm getting paid in the first place.

But I don't mind. I don't have anything to do anyways. I'll start work next year. Sorry...mom...dad.

I was walking my way back to the hospital and when I reached near Taehyung's room I heard some running. I turned back and saw-

"My....My Friends!?" I ran to them; MinSoo and Jimin. A wide smile spread across my face when I saw them. They missed me that much? I spread my arms wide for them to hug me but I guess it only I missed them.
