Samuela just found herself standing at the porch of the Querio's mansion. Mahigpit ang hawak niya sa bag niya habang si Natalia ay buhat-buhat ni Athos sa bisig niya.

Sobra ang kabog ng dibdib niya. Ito ang unang beses na nakarating siya sa mansyon ng mga Querio. At ang unang beses na maghaharap harap muli sila pagkatapos ng nga nangyari sa pagitan nila.

Would they hurt me? Baka palayasin ako bigla at ipahatak sa mga guard? She kept thinking habang humahakbang papasok.

Nakasunod siya kay Athos. Natalia was in awe by the whole house. Pagkapasok nila ay siyang pagbaba ni Kristoff, kasama ang anak na si Vicci sa grand staircase.

"Ninong!" Vicci shouted.

Ngumiti si Kristoff at hinayaan ang anak na pumunta sa banda nila. Nagmano ito sa kamay ni Athos at tiningala si Natalia.

"Natalia?" he innocently pointed at her.

Athos ruffled his curly hair. Nakangiti ng tipid si Kristoff sa amin habang titig na titig si Natalia sa kanila.

"Vicci, go to your mama." utos ni Kristoff sa anak.

"Yes, Papa." tumakbo si Vicci papalo sa kanila.

Samuela smiled a bit to Kristoff. May ilang yabag pababa ng staircase kaya nilingon nila iyon.

Descending on the stairs, was the head of the clan... matikas ang bawat galaw nito sa kabila ng katandaan.

General Vicente Querio looked very dashing.

"You're both here." his voice thundered.

Puno iyon ng pagiging strikto. Nanatiling tahimik si Samuela. The last time they saw each other, nagkaroon ng barilan. At mas nakakatakot ngayon ang matanda.

"Attorney," he greeted her.

Tumango siya at sinubukang ngumiti sa matanda pero naging bahaw iyon dahil sa paglabas ng mga Querio mula sa dining.

Olivia, Felicity, Gregory, their mom, and Athos' father came out with visible shock on their faces. Samuela held her breath as she scanned them.

But Athena Querio wasn't around.

"Is this..." hindi maituloy ng Vice Admiral Scott Querio ang tanong sa anak na si Athos.

Athos tapped Natalia's head.

"Yes, Pa. This is my daughter." he introduced.

Nanatili ang lito at takot sa mukha ni Natalia. This was the first time she saw them, and they were all looking at her.

Lumapit si Vice Admiral kay Natalia. She ran to her mother and hid on her back. Nakasilip sa mga tao. Samuela looked at her and nodded.

"It's okay, Nat. They're Papa's family. He's your lolo." she explained though her voice was nearly breaking.

Iginiya niya si Natalia papunta sa direksyon ng ama ni Athos. Nang matitigan ang apo'y agad tumulo ang luha sa mata at niyakap ito ng mahigpit.
