However, he has sharp insight; moreover, he becomes under the care of a pair of twin brothers in the police force, who also have a child currently in university. Yu Yin possesses yin-yang eyes, which allow him to see things ordinary people cannot. The two brothers happen to complement each other, and together they investigate various inconceivable incidents.

Impressions: How to feel cool in this weather... read a horror book. Lol
Hmm... this is suprisingly not BL.Tsk. I was baited by the cover photo. But its a fun enough read.

We have our MC who has a sporadic third eye. He can sometimes see 'unscientific' things. Lol. His dad and Uncle who are twin brothers both work for the police. Their family of three gets a new addition, a 'little brother' who is the only survivor of a family murder case.

Volume 1 - The Leopard Cat - MC starts seeing a leopard cat and whenever it appears, people would get into accidents. So he starts trying to find out the connection between these people.

Volume 2 - Water Stains - MC's new little brother gets cursed by a little girl water ghost. They investigate a case about the girl's 'accidental' death and her missing mom.

Volume 3 - Lottery Ticket - MC bumps into a student cos the other was too excited from winning the first prize lottery. Laters, his Dad picked up a case that the student commited suicide and no lottery ticket was found

Volume 4 - Secret - MC visits a haunted apartment and helps solve a love-hate murder case. They also reopen an old case about a family murder that happened in the same apartment. The family murder is the same style as what happened to MC's Lil bro's family.

Volume 5 - Lost - MC's Uncle (who is babyfaced) goes undercover in Little Bro's highschool to join a group of delinquents XD They are selling the same drugs that caused the previous family murders. Students in the school also goes missing one by one. Little Bro becomes one of the missing students.

Volume 6 - Unknown - MC's group of friends/classmates goes south for vacation. He doesn't join in. Laters, he finds out that 19 out of the 20 classmates went missing. He drags Lil bro to the south to look for his missing classmates.

Volume 7 - Twins - #spoiler MC's Uncle gets into an accident during a police operation. MC's Dad pretends to be his twin brother to solve the case. MC finds out the hard way that you should never sympathize with ghosts.

Volume 8 - The End - MC rescues a psycho little loli. Meanwhile, Lil Bro goes to revenge directly on the drug mastermind. MC rescues him and almost drowns. The drug case is finally closed. Lil Bro also gets closure from his family.

Hmm... it was fun. I actually didn't like the MC very much, he was thoughtless and impulsive. Sometimes, there were so many clues dropped but he doesn't pay attention to it so it still takes too long to solve the case. He is also quite hot-headed, and easily swayed, I didn't like it when he strongly questioned Little Bro. But he is loyal, and meddlesome which is why he would help solve the cases of the ghost coming to him. MC is not super clever or awesome and would often end up being the one helped by many people instead, so although he's the MC, he's not the 'Hero' that will save everyone like most protagonist.

Still, the other characters make up for it. MC Dad and his Uncle (the Twin bros) are fun to read about, especially his Uncle who is as impulsive and more hot-headed than him. MC Dad is also awesome especially in Volume 7: Twins... Hmm.. very very sinister.

MC Lil Bro is also a cute little introvert. But this little bro is actually pretty scary (RIP druglord) so its good to have a cheerful Big Bro MC to take care of him.

MC Dad and Uncle coworkers are also interesting, the scaredy cat subordinate and the 'supernatural blockhead' forensic investigator. Even MC's classmate, their 'school gang leader' is also really good. He's actually more of a protagonist material than MC. (Sorry MC!)

Overall, I quite enjoyed this for the horror/mystery plot (although some cases are not that hard to guess) and the interesting characters. Read this if you like something similar to Ghost Hunt where they solve different cases involving ghosts~~
