Synopsis:

Lin Qing He transmigrated into the novel and became one of its cannon fodders. The novel's background is non-viable-1960s, time of want to eat but nothing to eat and want to wear, nothing to wear. Although the lack of supplies and life was monotonous, this wasn't what she was concerned about because she got a small personal interspatial space, which is stuffed with supplies, so temporarily no worries about basic needs.

What she's worried about, if she remembers correctly, her three so-called sons will become big villains in the future, and their upright and cold dad will end up in an indestructible end.

Lin Qing He looked at the three future villain sons, eldest who was only five years old, the second child was only three years old, and the third child was only one year old, and decided to give them half a big white bun first...

Impressions: This is a rare looong BG novel that I actually MTLd (701 chaps!) and I must say, its very very satisfying to read. Translation quality and frequency is also very good!

So our MC transmigrates into a novel as the mother of  three (3) future villains. Original is an ambitious soldier's wife living in the countryside. However, after his husband (ML) got injured, he retired and became a farmer. The original cannot accept it so she eloped with an educated youth (As per the title, this is set in the 60s) but later, she was abandoned by the guy. The three sons left in the countryside later grew crooked and became the villains, they later got defeated by the good guys male lead and female lead~

MC transmigrates while they were still in the countryside, before ML got injured/went back to the village. MC raises the three little villains alone. Life in the village is not that good especially since this is during the 60s where you can't even buy things even if you have money, you have to depend on coupons and stuff. Luckily, our MC has a golden finger magical space that appeared 3 days before her transmigration, she stock up on some supplies like oil, sugar, rice etc. and she brought it with her in the sixties. Nothing exciting is happening in the village so it mostly focuses on food porn, how MC invents different ways to cook the cheap/local ingredients to give the three little villains enough nutrition. Since MC is dependent on ML's salary and also on the supplier in her magical space, she followed the original and did not farm like the other villagers so she is known as a spendthrift lazy wife.

Laters, ML retires and goes back to the village to be a farmer. He was expecting his wife to make trouble (he knows that her ambition is to be an official's wife) but MC surprisingly accepts it. He also discovers that his wife takes good care of their kids, a little lavish but feeds them healthy meals and cares for him very much ^^ So he slowly starts to fall for MC. MC has a good impression of ML but that's it, so she didn't allow them to climb into her bed just yet XD Laters, MC wanted to re-sell stuff which is ILLEGAL and to make ML agree (he's an upright soldier), she used honey trap. lololol. MC is confident that she won't be caught because of her magical space. After they roll the sheets, MC really accepts ML as his husband.

They live in the village for a couple more years and she also confessed her real identity to ML, that she's someone from the future (she did not tell him that this was inside a book), and told him all about the resuming of the college entrance examinations. MC and his eldest son both get admitted and there's a brief separation where MC and 1st son is in the Capital studying at Uni while ML and the 2nd & 3rd little bun stay in the village. Sometimes MC goes back or ML goes to MC~ Very loveydovey.

After graduation, MC becomes a faculty member at the Uni and moves her family's household residency to the Capital. She uses the capital from re-selling to start small businesses (a dumpling shop, a clothes store, a drinks store etc.) and buys some lands and buildings cos she knows that the prices will skyrocket in the future. Anyways, after food porn in the village, its the poor-to-rich/business management in the Capital arc. MC also helped some of their relatives find jobs/train them in business.

Laters, all three little buns grow up, find their own side CPs and their own careers. #spoiler 1st son becomes a soldier, 2nd son is a politician, 3rd son inherited the businesses and MC and ML also had a little daughter when MC was in her 40s. Ending is...MC dying first of old age and ML following after her.

This was really really long, from when the little buns was still 3-6 years old in the village until their respective marriage so its hard not to get invested. Lol. Also, very informative with the policies in place during that time (Life is hard. Sigh.) MC & ML life are very lovey dovey and most troubles come from their relatives. MC has a younger brother while ML has 2 elder sisters, 3 brothers, 1 younger sister, each with their own families. Interactions between their families are shown all throughout, whether its give and take, or MC helping them, or MC NOT helping them and them getting jealous/angry. Also all the nieces, nephews, in-laws etc. so aside from the three villain sons, there are also a lot of side CPs from the niece/nephews etc. I like that MC tried to help their relatives make their lives better, whether by giving them ideas for their livelihood or training them so they can be skilled workers~ And later, when she was rich enough, she just enjoyed her life with ML and their youngest daughter. I thought she would go for stocks or something like other rebirth poor-to-rich novels, but she just bought lands and established small businesses, built houses for rent, not really so exaggerated as building a Business Empire.

Read this if you enjoy poor to rich, or rural farming life with a lovey dovey main couple.
