So our MC is a VERY RICH CEO. He doesn't have many hobbies, lives a simple life and nothing to spend his money on. He plays a male idol training game and smashes money into the game in order to give his trainees the best stats for them and reach their True Ending (winning a Grammy Award). Finally, his album has reached 99.9% completion with only one (1) Trainee left. An F-Rank Trainee with the same name as him.

This character is very unpopular cos he has a debuff wherein you have to spend twice the number of points / money in order to level him up compared to other trainees. He also starts at F-Rank with all time low stats so you'd have to spend a lot and it would take a long long time to raise him. Anyways, our MC also didn't choose him for these reasons. Then, he saw some players dissing the character on a forum (Lol). So on impulse, he smashes 1 Billion in the game, and swore to reach his namesake's True Ending. The game told him it would be opening a Special Mode, then he got transported into that world as the F-Rank Trainee.

MC's goal is to reach the True Ending or he would face 'character deletion'. Luckily, his 1 Billion has turned into points so he could improve some of his stats. He was let go in his previous agency and transferred to a new one. The new agency is just about to debut a new idol group and MC is asked to join them. This new idol group is quite complete with 4 members: One each for Vocal, Dance, Entertainment and Composition. MC becomes the member in charge of Visual / Face of the group.

Then the kids start to get closer. MC learns more about them and helps them when he can (money issues, family issues etc.). After reaching a certain amount of 'chemistry' with them, MC can also improve the stats of his members thru...points obtain from smashing money. Btw, in order to improve himself our MC used a lot of points (The 1 Billion is not enough), and he can only get more from spending his other savings in the real world. YES, MC is spending his own money IRL inside the game (WOW. Such moneygrubbing game).

Anyways, their team is perfectly balanced and each member is doing their best in their respective roles. Their idol group is on the rise, in the country and overseas (Southeast Asia). Along the way, MC is also offered other 'Endings' like Heir of a Huge Group (OG was the son of a chaebol) or being a Producer, but he is only aiming for the True Ending. MC wants to conquer the West next.

Hmm... it feels similar to Debut or Die, with the game elements and stat you can improve, it's just MC improves the whole team instead of just himself. Also, achievements can open up MC's IRL bank accounts, so he can spend money to buy points for stats so it feels like MC is always being taken advantage of by the Game / System. Not to mention, he has shitty luck so he always hits the 'ceiling' when he's trying to roll for Skills. =_=

It's pretty interesting how MC would meet other Trainees (who are now idols) from the game. And some of them developed on their own, while some retained the stats and skills that MC bought for them. Curious about how it would be revealed why MC was chosen by the System, if it would be something like MC is from the game world all along? Or something like that~ Hope this one gets a manwha too ^_^
