Impressions: I saw some posts on twitter on how S2(?) of the manwha is coming back, that's why they're celebrating so I got curious and read the manwha~ then proceeded to read the novel after to find out what happens next.

As per the synopsis, our MC is a civil service examinee who makes money by selling idol data. One day, he woke up in a different body, a young man who committed suicide, and time has also gone back to 3 years ago. Thinking about the popular rebirth/transmigration genre on novels, our MC shouts 'Status Window' and then...it really came out. Lol.

Our MC gets a mission to 'Debut or Die' in which our MC will die if he doesn't debut within the time limit. Using his knowledge about idols / entertainment circle, our MC successfully gets scouted to join an idol audition show. Our MC also gets System points when he makes achievements so he can use those points to improve his stats (Vocal, Dance, Visual, Talent) which gives him some fighting chance against those contestants who were professionally trained. But this is just the first mission, later our MC gets more like Get the Rookie Award or Die, Meet 400K Audience or Die etc. After completing the missions, and finding out how the System works, our MC tries to destroy it.

Hmm... how to say, our MC is very...efficient(?), every move of his is calculated, on how to show off his appeal on the program. After all, his goal is to debut. He is aware of the program groups, malicious(?) editing of trying to make the program more controversial to be popular so he also tries to avoid contestants he suspects will have problems in the future so that they won't be associated. The keyword is "tries" because, in one way or another, our MC thinks the other person will affect him in some way so in the end, he will solve the problem / help the person. Lol.

#SPOILER Our MC was able to debut, but then he will get a new mission of... Win this award or die and after achieving that, he will get another missions (Meet 400K Audience etc). Anyways, more on life with the other members of the idol group. MC helping solve the crises that pops out before it gets worse etc. They learn about each other and we also learn more about our MC... why is his actions like that, his experiences which influences his personality.

MC also meets the previous Host of the System, the leader of a top idol group, but that person's penalty is not to Die, but to Reset. Less harsh but that person does not have a System panel so he didn't even know the specific mission he has to fulfill. Anyways, after hundreds (or maybe more) of Reset, he was able to complete the mission and escape from the System (MC is his next batter). He went a little psycho, and was addicted to 'resetting', trying to get the perfect results. He becomes an...ally (somewhat) to MC later. He plays a big part, as much as the other members in the later arcs. Another character which plays a big part is #SPOILER the body's original owner, he swapped bodies with MC and now, he's getting missions to pass the civil service exam. Lol. The two of them became close, like each other's family.

Overall, it was very good. I love their album concepts (the description of the MVs!!), their stage / concerts, their variety shows (lololol). I like that they tackled each member's troubles/crises and grew closer because of it. The System, other Hosts, the timeloop, the body swap are all pretty interesting settings. Nearest reco is Idol Group and the Crown, but Debut or Die is not BL~~
